Under direct supervision, assists physicians and clinicians with patient care duties in a clinical environment. Promotes efficient patient flow and patient care, including exams and procedures. Performs clinic support tasks such as clerical duties, answering phones, and maintaining physicians' schedules.
Responsibilities
+ Escort patients to and from exam rooms, physician offices, and treatment rooms as appropriate.
+ Record patient data prior to each physician visit, including vital signs, height, weight, allergies, and medication changes.
+ Obtain all necessary patient records as required by the physician prior to treatment or procedures.
+ Prepare and stock exam/treatment rooms and order supplies as needed.
+ Maintain all exam/treatment room disinfection protocols.
+ Answer patient telephone calls for referral to physician or nurse/pharmacist.
+ Phone in prescriptions and make other patient calls as directed by physicians and RNs.
+ Inform physician of patient reschedules and no-shows.
+ Perform other administrative duties such as typing, filing, faxing, chart preparation, and reception as requested by supervisor or physician.

This role is based in an oncology office focusing on women's health, including GYN and breast health. The work schedule is Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
