+ Contact patients via phone or mail to schedule medical evaluations and follow up on abnormal test results or missed appointments.
+ Ensure the orderliness of the patients' and staff environment, contributing to collaborative patient responsibility.

+ Upon physician approval and authorization, calls in prescriptions to the pharmacy. + Prepare for office hours by obtaining charts, scheduling tests, and preparing exam rooms.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in medical assisting, including experience with electronic medical records (EMR).
+ Certification as a CCMA or RMA through an approved organization such as the NHA.
+ Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
+ Two years or more of experience as a Medical Assistant.
+ Strong interactive communication skills with the ability to work with physicians, patients, families, significant others, and support staff.
+ Strong interpersonal, organizational, and telephone skills.
+ Working knowledge of anatomy and physiology, fundamentals of medical terminology, and experience with electronic medical records.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
