Assists the physician in providing medical care to patients of various ages according to the policy of individual practice, in accordance with professional standards and hospital policies and procedures. Adheres to the Florida Hospital Corporate Compliance Plan, and to all the rules and regulations of all applicable local, state, and federal agencies and accrediting bodies. Responsible for helping practice and physician achieve all meaningful use measures. Demonstrates effective use and support of the Customer and Superior Service Standards, within the hospital and physician office settings, at all times. **The role you'll contribute:**
The Medical Assistant, under general supervision, provides appropriate care to patients as well as follows AdventHealth service standards. Responsible for assisting providers during treatment and examination and may assist with procedures and medication administration as ordered by the provider.
