+ Efficiently manage time by prioritizing each patients' needs
+ Return/ Direct patient phone calls
+ Record/ verify medical records such as medical histories, medication reconciliations, and vital signs
+ Coordinate with hospital admissions and laboratory services
+ Diagnostic Testing: EKGs, Stress Echos, Lab, Nuclear Medicine
+ Assist clinic RN staff as needed
**Qualifications**
+ Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) required
+ High School Diploma/ GED required
+ Previous experience is preferred, but not required
+ BLS through the American Heart Association is required

**Overview**
As our Certified Medical Assistant at CHI St. Vincent Heart Clinic of Arkansas, you will help patients navigate their heart health journey by providing essential clinical support so they can achieve optimal cardiac well-being.
Every day you will perform a variety of clinical tasks, including taking vital signs, preparing patients for exams, and assisting with procedures. You will be expected to accurately document patient information, maintain a clean and organized workspace, and collaborate effectively with the healthcare team.
To be successful in this role, you must possess strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a genuine compassion for patients.
