The Medical Assistant's primary duty is to act as a liaison between the providers, the clinical staff and his or her patients.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Rooming patients
* Obtaining vital signs
* Updating and verifying medication list

* Obtaining EKGs, Spirometry, Hearing and Vision screenings
* Requesting pertinent records from specialists, hospitals, urgent cares, etc.
* Reports to Team Lead for additional assignments

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills:
* A strong understanding of medical terminology
* Excellent judgment and ability to prioritize
* Exceptional customer service as well as strong interpersonal skills
* The ability to handle difficult patients or stressful situations
Because of the urgent nature of medical work, prompt and regular attendance is essential. Medent experience is a plus.
Hourly $18.00 - $1.00 based on experience

Successful completion of the basic PC Skills assessment required.
