Responsibilities
- Assisting with telemedicine visitations- including set up of video call and positioning of camera as instructed by Nurse Practitioner.
- General Office Duties- copies and performing other clerical tasks.
- Communicating with patients
- Strong communication skills- effective communication with team members and patients.
- Organizational skills- ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Computer literacy- Proficiency in using iPad, camera functioning and positioning and other computer applications.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures- Understanding of basic medical concepts and terminology.
- Must be willing to travel.

Job Overview
This position is key to centralized patient appointment scheduling. Candidates must possess the ability to provide a positive patient oriented experience for all customers both over the phone and in person. The candidate must possess strong computer skills and exhibit attention to detail in the provision of medical scheduling services to the patient, family members, visitors and physicians in the Access Center setting. Assists in scheduling and rescheduling appointments. Obtains demographic, insurance and other related information from patients when registering for appointment.
