**Job Summary**
The **Sales Representative - Specialty Medical Products** is accountable for portfolio expansion, strengthening customer relationships, leveraging GPO contracts and providing in-service (technical, clinical and educational) in the acute hospital setting to hospital customers. Our reps are viewed as a trusted advisor to their customers. This role not only requires an understanding of the clinical environment but must be able to identify and solve customer issues. This is a highly clinical sales role that reports into the Region Sales Director, Specialty Medical Products. Our Specialty Medical Product portfolio consists of Pneumatic Compression, Nutritional Delivery, and Electrocardiography.
**Territory:** Ideal candidate location is in and around the greater San Jose, CA area. This role requires minimal overnight travel, but is a field-based role covering customers around San Jose and the East Bay area.
**Responsibilities**
+ Drive strategies to achieve sales goals across dedicated product categories within assigned geography
+ Proactively identify, qualify, and execute effective sales opportunities focused on retaining current and new customers while understanding the market landscape
+ Manage multiple projects simultaneously, maintain accurate records, and effectively organize and prioritize workload to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
+ Effectively utilize and update sales tools to accurately address trends in existing base of business, create call strategies, and to manage territory and strategic business plans with adherence to required activity level
+ Build consultative relationships with external customers such as clinicians, supply chain partners, and GPO partners as well as internal stakeholders like marketing and customer service

**Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's Degree or relevant experience preferred
+ Experience in sales, account/relationship management, or customer success preferred
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills including active listening, experience in developing and delivering presentations to both small and large groups
+ Self-motivated and proactive with a strong work ethic and a willingness to take initiative

+ Lead territory opportunity development and activities that translate to accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual projections

+ Develop mastery of all products and sales applications

**Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's Degree or relevant experience preferred
+ Minimum of 5 - 7 years of documented outside sales success in a competitive, sophisticated environment (complex capital or tangible products including medical/surgical, copiers, payroll solutions, information) preferred
+ Medical Device industry experience preferred
+ Excellent phone, written, and in-person communication skills
+ Key account development with experience accessing and developing key hospital decision-makers and influencers preferred

The **Supply Chain Sales Executive (SCSE** ) is accountable for developing and executing an account strategy to grow Cardinal Health Distribution within local accounts across a defined territory. · Research and/ or health care system knowledge.
· Ability to support a specific territory with up to 70% travel. Should hold a valid US Driver’s License.
Preferred:
· 2+ years of relevant experience, preferably in MSL role.
· 2+ years of lung oncology experience is preferred
· Residency/fellowship preferred.
· Board certification for clinical degrees preferred.

What you’ll do
- Drive new Rx growth and market share across target specialties
- Launch and detail a new ENT product with crisp messaging & pull-through
- Cultivate and expand prescriber networks—especially in Psychiatry and ENT
- Plan efficient routes aligned to territory maps; maintain accurate CRM reporting
- Operate with high compliance and strong business acumen.
What you’ll bring
- 1+ year of outside sales experience (required)
- 4-year college degree (required)
- Already reside within the territory (no relocation considered)
- 2+ years corporate work experience ; we’re not considering brand-new grads
- Preferred: Recent pharma sales experience and/or active Psych or ENT relationships
- Strongly preferred: Experience selling antipsychotics/psychotropics (APS) or antidepressants (SSRI/SNRI/NDRI )
Compensation
- B2B sales background: Base $50K–$5K
- Pharma sales background: Base 65K–$7 K (up to 80K for the right candidate with current/recent Psych or ENT relationships)

The Position:
We are seeking aggressive, results-oriented individuals who will be able to drive branded prescription sales within a defined territory. Excellent base salary and benefits with strong incentive potential which is linked directly to your ability to increase business within your assigned territory.
The Specialty Pharmaceutical Sales Representative will promote our branded products as well as additional brands. The primary call point will be Endocrinology, Primary Care and Women's Health. We are expecting to launch a number of new products year over year and beyond to further distinguish ourselves as the market leader in specialty care.
Position Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:
- Calling on assigned territory healthcare providers and informing those healthcare providers about the features and benefits of our products, explaining the characteristics, uses, dosages, value add programs for our HCP's and their patients as well as the ability to effectively communicate other relevant educational information as directed by management in order to grow market share
- Consistently develop a partnership selling style that includes an ability to use all available promotional literature and selling tools (excel based reports, market share & usage reports, etc,) during sales calls as assigned.
- Educate, develop, and maintain strong relationships with assigned territory healthcare providers and their staff, to further the progress of the company business
- Continuously improve selling skills, product and competitor product knowledge by completing required training courses, working with your managers, and reviewing available information provided by the product management team and/or Acella Pharmaceuticals medical affairs team.
Basic Requirements:
- Candidate must have minimum of Bachelor's Degree (B.S., B.A., or B.S.N.) from a four year accredited college or university.
- A minimum of 2+ years of outside B2B sales experience
- Must be authorized to be employed in the United States and must have a valid driver's license issued in one of the 50 States with a clean driving record
- Ability to travel as necessary
- Strong organization skills and excellent oral presentation and communication skills also required
- Other Requirements: Preference will also be given to candidates with documented sales awards and achievements and candidates living within 20 miles of the posted geography.
