Responsibilities
The Registered Nurse provides direct care in the medical – surgical setting. Under the direction of the Nursing Department Leadership Team, formulates a plan of care to meet the identified needs of the patient/family unit using the nursing process. 4. SKILLS: Patient Assessment, Critical thinking, documentation, and communication. Assumes shift responsibility and accountability for the plan of care. Collaborates with other health professionals to coordinate, monitor and direct patient care. Meets patient/family needs in a cost effective manner through efficient use of resources

Job Description
+ Deliver the best possible care to your set of assigned patients
+ Administer medications, change dressings, monitor vital signs, and chart with timely documentation
+ Collaborate with a variety of other healthcare professionals such as social work, care coordination, physical therapy, occupational therapy, lab, respiratory therapy, and imaging
We are offering a **_sign on bonus up to $25,000_** to hires who meet the eligibility requirements. We also offer additional pay for participation in our clinical ladder as well as referral bonuses, excellent benefits, tuition reimbursement and relocation assistance.
**Job Requirements**
+ Unencumbered license to practice as an RN in the State of Arkansas
+ 6 months of acute care experience is required (new graduates or nurses who have never worked in an acute care setting are hired through our residency training program)
+ Previous med surg experience is preferred, but not required
+ BLS through the **American Heart Association** is required
