Are you passionate about improving lives through technology? We're looking for a Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join a mission-driven team working on breakthrough neuromodulation devices that help treat epilepsy and sleep apnea.
This isn't your typical QA role, you won't just be testing software. You'll be deeply involved in product development , helping shape software and firmware from the ground up, ensuring it meets both regulatory standards and real-world needs .
What You'll Be Doing:
Take the lead on software quality in product development teams - from early design all the way to launch.
Own and manage risk documentation and design control processes (IEC 62304, ISO 13485).
Chair the change control board , helping guide decisions around defects and updates during development.
Provide technical input in code reviews and be a go-to person for software/firmware-related investigations.
Collaborate with teams across R&D, Clinical, Regulatory, and Operations - and support during audits as an SME.
What We're Looking For:
6+ years' experience in software or firmware quality in the medical device space.
A strong grasp of IEC 62304 , ISO 13485 , and 21 CFR Part 820 .
A confident communicator who can work cross-functionally and present clearly during audits.
Background in Computer Science , Engineering , or related field.
Experience with implantable medical devices ? That's a big plus!

With your experience in construction and healthcare projects, you'll own the implementation process for installing our larger Imaging equipment in hospitals and other care centers starting from the sales order review through training customers on their new devices. This is a customer facing position best suited to candidates in Houston, TX.

**Job Description**
**Responsibilities**
+ Act as the primary contact between GE Healthcare and the customer on all activities related to installation
+ Drive customer satisfaction and process productivity during the installation
+ Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
+ Identify, escalate, and resolve issues, which might impact customer satisfaction and GE operational targets
+ Work cross functionally with sales and services teams while owning the project management and implementation process for GE Healthcare Diagnostic Imaging
**Qualifications/Requirements**
+ Bachelor's degree and two or more years of project management experience; or an associate degree and minimum five years of Project Management experience.
+ Minimum two years' experience leading cross-functional teams.
+ Must have a valid driver's license and be willing and able to travel regularly including overnight when required
**Desired Characteristics**
+ Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple priorities to meet scheduled completion dates and customer expectations while based in your home office
+ Ability to work with and influence team members to achieve mutual goals
+ Formal coursework in project management and experience in construction or working with the building trades
+ Experience with large-scale project management requirements where deadlines are met on or ahead of schedule
+ Demonstrated customer service experience working in a clinical environment and familiarity with GE Healthcare products
+ Proficient with design tools such as AutoCAD and Magic Plan
+ Current Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and Six Sigma certification
