Faculty position in the University of Rochester School of Medicine, Department of Medicine, Division of Allergy Immunology and Rheumatology.
We are recruiting a Board Certified/Board Eligible Rheumatologist to join our academic faculty in our Rheumatology practice. We are a twenty-three-member faculty group with world renowned members with expertise in allergic disease, rheumatoid and psoriatic arthritis, SLE, Sjogren's Syndrome, scleroderma, clinical immunology and MSK ultrasound. The Division is a leader in providing high quality care, the design and implementation of innovative translational studies and clinical trials and the development of novel approaches in resident and fellowship education. The Division has 7 fully staffed clinic sites and three infusion centers, 7 advance practice providers and a robust and talented support staff including 25 RN's working as a team to provide timely, state-of- the art patient care.
The position will entail an academic faculty appointment in the University of Rochester School of Medicine. Position is commensurate with experience and activities will include patient care, supervision of fellows, residents and medical students and scholarly endeavors.

This job provides assistant services to one or more physician(s).
Works independently with patients at times and also (when required at other times) under the direct supervision of a physician as set forth in state law and regulation in the clinic and operating room as set forth in hospital policy.
Handles the coordination of all clinical care given to patients for the practice and works closely with support personnel for optimal patient care.

Job Summary:

Family Medicine Clinical Educators are physicians who engage in clinical care, scholarship and teaching to advance the mission of Charles R. Drew University. The primary work is as a clinical faculty member who teaches and advances scholarship with medical students, residents and other health profession trainees in their respective clinical setting.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provides evidenced-based education for residents and medical students, to include but not limited to, clinical teaching, interactive didactics and case presentations.
• Provides supervision and oversight of residents and medical students during family medicine clerkship and/or residency rotations, as a Family Medicine clinical faculty member.
• Contributes to and provides aspects of the rotation curriculum and evaluation.
• Attends and delivers didactic sessions for residents and medical students.
• Participates in scholarly activity and research, including national presentations, lectures, and publications.
• Participates in departmental and/or hospital committees as recommended by the Program Director of the Family Medicine Residency Program and/or Family Medicine Department Chair.
• Exemplifies Charles R. Drew University standards of excellence. For example: demonstrates friendliness and courtesy and effective communication in a professional environment.
• Other duties and unique responsibilities as assigned by the Family Medicine Residency Program Director and Family Medicine Department Chair.

Research and Scholarship Responsibilities

• Attends medical student or resident didactic conferences regularly and presents at least 4 lectures per year.

Clinical Practice Responsibilities

• Participate in academic service including program design and implementation, accreditation, strategic planning, attending commencement, and search committees

Administration

• Assists in the recruitment and selection of faculty and residents.

EDUCATION:

• M.D. or D.O. from a nationally accredited university.
• Completed an ACGME accredited Family Medicine residency program in good standing.

• Possess a valid, unrestricted California medical license.

EXPERIENCE:

• Academic credentials appropriate for appointment to the COM faculty and the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor or Professor.
• Active employment as a licensed clinical provider.

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Expertise is required in the specific area of Maternal Fetal Medicine. Candidates should be proficient in obstetrical ultrasound. Applicants must have an M.D. degree. Candidates must be board certified or active candidates for certification by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and subspecialty trained and board certified or active candidates for certification in maternal fetal medicine.
Teaching responsibilities may include teaching and supervising medical students, Ob/Gyn residents and MFM fellows, and participation in formal curriculum.
Clinical responsibilities may include out-patient consultations for high risk obstetrical, maternal and fetal conditions, obstetrical ultrasound, antenatal testing, prenatal genetic diagnosis, as well as in-patient consultation and obstetrical care.
Successful candidates will join the established Division of Maternal Fetal Medicine with clinical programs at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, Pennsylvania Hospital, Chester County Hospital and a network of satellite practices in New Jersey.
