Volunteer Opportunity
We are looking for caring and dedicated volunteers to support our adult inpatient units at Memorial Hospital. By offering comfort, conversation, and support, you'll play an important role in helping patients and families feel at ease during their hospital stay.
As a volunteer, you may:
* Offer a warm welcome by greeting patients, families, and visitors when they arrive on the unit.
* Visit patient rooms to check in, provide friendly conversation, or help with small comforts like blankets, refreshments, or ensuring personal items are within reach.
* Escort patients in wheelchairs to the discharge lounge or entrances.
* Assist with non-clinical items such as organizing supplies and restocking resource areas.
* Help patients access tools like MSK MyChart.
Who We're Looking For
* Age 18+
* Able to commit to a weekly 4-hour shift for at least 6 months
* Must be flexible and willing to support various areas based on daily needs, as directed by Volunteer Supervisor

**Job Summary:**
As a ProMedica Phlebotomist, you will collect products and/or specimens for procedures and perform testing while caring for the patient before, during and after collection. You will perform pre-analytic tasks for sample preparation including centrifugation, decanting, specimen distribution and specimen packaging.
In this role, you will use quality assurance data to enhance services and recommend changes in procedures to address quality issues and provide customer satisfaction.

**Memorial Hospital Belleville** is an acute care hospital offering medical and surgical services plus critical and emergency care including Children's at Memorial for pediatric emergency care. Memorial, offering medical and surgical services plus critical care, is an accredited Chest Pain Center with PCI by the Society of Cardiovascular Patient Care and is designated as an Acute Stroke Ready Hospital by the Illinois Department of Public Health. In addition, Memorial Belleville recently was accredited by the American College of Radiology as a designated Lung Cancer Screening Center. **Role Purpose**
The Executive Director, Associate Chief Nursing Officer (ACNO) works collaboratively with the HSO Chief Nursing Officer and Leadership teams to develop and implement patient care delivery models, evidence based clinical and professional practice standards and policies, as well as innovative staffing strategies. The Executive Director also collaborates with hospital leaders to enhance capacity and throughput as well as an interprofessional/interdisciplinary approach to care delivery. The Executive Director provides leadership and direction in accordance with HSO goals and objectives. Under general direction of the HSO CNO, the role will be assigned local and/or system level patient care/process improvement activities in accordance with the strategic plan and defined BJC policies and objectives. In the absence of the CNO, the Executive Director represents the CNO and assumes responsibility for the scope of the CNO's responsibilities as a member of the HSO Leadership Team.

Job Description
Function in any medical situation where it is elected to support a patients cardiopulmonary system as operator of extracorporeal circulatory and/or cardiopulmonary support equipment. Assist physicians in the care of patients as relative to the profession of extracorporeal technology through consultation and/or operation of related equipment. Competent in the conduct of perfusion and the essential practices of extra corporeal circulation as listed by the American Society of Extracorporeal Technology.
Responsibilities
• Operate the heart-lung machine during cardiopulmonary bypass in a safe and concise manner. • Display competent and acceptable techniques and relative to the standards of the department. • Responsible for aseptic and swift assembly of the heart-lung machine, cell saver, extracorporeal assist devices, intra-aortic balloon pump, and other cardiopulmonary support equipment. • Monitor and maintain various parameters of the patients status during bypass and other procedures as needed. These parameters include, but are not limited to, anticoagulation, temperature, blood pressures, EKG, blood gases, acid-base balance, blood component concentrations, patient metabolism, renal function, pertinent line pressures, and other meaningful criteria. • Knowledge base relative to intra-aortic balloon pumping. • Set up required monitoring accessories and expertly operate the IABP inclusive of initial timing and troubleshooting of the device. • Serve in an advisory role to hospital personnel involved in the long term monitoring of the intra-aortic balloon pump patients. Supervise perfusion assistants in the performances of intra aortic balloon pumping. • Perform various modes of autotransfusion in different settings. Include, but are not limited to, hemoconcentration, surgical cell salvaging, postoperative wound drainage, and various sequestration procedures. Supervise perfusion assistants in the performance of autotransfusion. • Responsible for the accurate operation of several ancillary devices. Include, but are not limited to, vascular flow computers, various coagulopathy monitoring devices, various temperature modules, invasive blood gas computers, and stationary blood gas machines. • Preoperatively evaluate all patients and implement in a safe and concise manner any changes deemed necessary by attending physicians. • At no time will the Perfusionist place a patient at risk unless under direct order of the attending physician and only after reasonable attempt has been made to explain any possible direct and/or indirect complications stemming from the procedural change. • Perform safety checks on all equipment as required by the department. • Maintain an accurate record of all procedures conducted and report, as required, all chargeable items and services for purposes of patient billing. • Assist in the orientation and training of new perfusion personnel. • Perform work in accordance with all departmental pay practices and scheduling policies, including but not limited to, overtime, various shift work, on-call situations and work flow management. • Evaluated against CLIA-88 requirements and is qualified to perform all duties and responsibilities for this position.

**Job Summary:**
The Registered Nurse (RN) is the core of ProMedica's world-class patient care team. By providing patient-centered care through sensitivity and respect for the diversity of human experience, ProMedica nurses are dedicated to improving health outcomes for our patients and for the communities we serve.
As the coordinator of a patient's plan of care, you will interact with the patient, families and the health care team through open communication, mutual respect, and shared decision-making. The RN will assess and formulate a nursing diagnosis, and plan, implement and evaluate the effectiveness of the care plan.
In this position, you will work collaboratively with fellow nurses and support staff as you strive to achieve patient care goals. As a ProMedica RN, you will work to improve patient care, your work environment and patient and staff satisfaction.

REQUIREMENTS
+ Current State license as a Registered Nurse
+ Current CPR training. Specialty certifications as required by individual nursing units.
+ The RN in Ohio must complete twenty-four contact hours of continuing education during his/her licensure period. At least 1 hour of contact hours must be related to Chapter 4723 of the Ohio nurse practice code and rules.

**Pharmacist - Southampton Memorial Hospital**
**Primary Function/General Purpose of Position**
The Pharmacist performs medication management activities to ensure safe, rational, and cost-effective therapy while maintaining compliance with all applicable rules, regulations, and standards as promulgated by Federal, State, and accrediting agencies or regulating bodies. The Pharmacist maintains established departmental policies and procedures and complies with department objectives.
**Licensing/Certification**
Maintains current license for pharmacist in the state(s) where practicing (required)
**Education**
Graduate of an ACPE accredited School of Pharmacy with a BS or PharmD (required)
Advanced pharmacy degree - Doctor of Pharmacy, Masters, Residency (preferred)
**Work Experience**

**Essential Job Functions**
+ __ Process orders and provide medication review for appropriateness, safety and efficacy during order processing and perform any necessary clinical support duties as needed
+ Ensure accurate preparation of compounded and non-compounded products to include safe handling that is consistent with regulations
+ Oversee distributive functions of the pharmacy department to facilitate accurate and timely medication availability to patients/staff
+ Oversee pharmacy technicians and support personnel activities based on department need
+ Maintain responsibility and accountability for the security of pharmacy inventory based on department need
+ Identify, document, and resolve potential and actual adverse medication events and may evaluate reports in event reporting system for trending and prevention purposes
+ Perform medication education to improve patient understanding and adherence consistent with department guidance
+ Work collaboratively and effectively to communicate verbally and in writing with pharmacy team members, healthcare providers, patients, caregivers, and leaders
+ Participate in departmental medication safety, quality assurance, drug utilization reviews, drug dosing, infection prevention, student precepting and other activities based on department need
+ Must be able to travel between locations, as needed.
