• Timely delivery of supplies, bottled water, furniture, etc. to various county locations, and the loading and unloading of the items and the distribution of same.

Building Service Attendant

Full Time Hourly – Estimated pay range $17 to $17.50 depending on qualifications and experience

Must be at least 18 years and older

Position Description:

The Building Services Attendant ensures a clean and safe shopping experience for customers and work environment for team members. Team members work safely and perform duties in accordance with all health, sanitation, and safety guidelines.

Your day-to-day:

• Committed to ensuring store and departments are clean and clear of hazards by removing trash, cardboard boxes, and any other obstructions

• Clean sales floor and departments with floor machine

• Daily cleaning and sanitizing of bathroom facilities, including toilets and sinks

• Daily cleaning of cafeteria counters, tables, and coffee machines

• Restocking necessary items (hand soap, paper products, trash liners, plastic utensils)

• Respond to immediate clean ups throughout the store, when necessary

• Perform basic maintenance work, such a light bulb replacement

• Adhere to all health, sanitation, and safety regulations

• Assist in other duties, as assigned

The Building Services Operator/Cleaner position supports the Eastman Kodak Company and its tenants with the cleaning and housekeeping of offices, labs, restrooms, break rooms, locker rooms and common areas.

The individual in this job performs a variety of activities designed to service maintain and execute building and site related activities. This cleaner works under the direction of a Team Leader and Supervision to clean/maintain defined areas in multiple buildings around Kodak Rochester. This position performs a variety of cleaning and housekeeping activities in different industrial and office settings.

Cleaning hallways, stairwells, restrooms, lobbies, break rooms, offices, labs, and manufacturing areas.

Candidate will be responsible for maintaining a defined route to empty trash, clean and stock restrooms, vacuum carpets, sweep and mop floor surfaces, clean glass and dust ledges.

Cleaner will be responsible for responding to special cleaning requests as directed by the team leader and for backfilling for team members as require by vacation or absence.

Assist in high level housekeeping tasks in designated areas. That may include hospitality areas, dining room, theater, and conference centers requiring you to; o Replenishing consumables as and when required in restrooms o Attend to urgent cleaning requests as and when necessary o Perform duties to a very high standard to meet expectations at a prestigious, world class venue. o Work flexibly, responding to requests from managers, clients and colleagues in a timely manner, while ensuring all standard and procedures are maintained

Knowledge of the standard practices, materials, chemicals and equipment used in the general cleaning and housekeeping.

Knowledge of safe work practices and personal limitations

Experience using cleaning machinery is useful but not necessary for the right candidate

Able to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings and weekends.

Excellent customer service skills, daily interface with both internal Kodak and external tenant needs.
