The Strategy team, part of the global Market Intelligence and Business Strategy (MIBS) group our company's Animal Health Division, is responsible for assessing, prioritizing, and driving long term strategic direction and value creation for our company's Global Animal Health enterprise.

The Director, Enterprise Strategy will be considered a leader in the global Strategy Team and the organization overall. Reporting to the AVP, MIBS, and supporting our company's Animal Health Leadership Team, he/she plays a pivotal role in identifying key growth areas and leading cross-functional teams to develop and execute strategies and transformations for the global business

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

+ Lead enterprise strategy assessment and planning to define and articulate the organization's business strategies focused on delivering medium and long-term value for the division

+ Manage cross-functional teams in the evaluation and implementation of strategic opportunities within the company's core business as well as adjacent domains

+ Design and facilitate strategy-related workshops, including planning interactive activities and breakout sessions; Analyze outcomes and present insights and next steps to stakeholders.

+ Lead the integration and alignment of strategy processes into business and financial planning workflows

+ Build business cases, models and rationales for potential investments

+ Provide internal consulting and thought leadership to the Animal Health Leadership Team, as well as other Commercial, R&D, Manufacturing, Supply, and Finance leaders.

+ Perform rigorous analysis and prioritize through hypothesis-based problem solving

+ Prepare thought pieces regarding critical industry trends and opportunities for the Animal Health Leadership Team

+ Create presentations for regular business reviews, leadership updates, including the Board of Directors

+ Support business development/M&A activities

+ Coach junior team members on the broader MIBS team

**Qualifications**

**Education:**

+ Required: BA/BS

+ Preferred: MBA/MA/MS

**Required Experience and Skills:**

+ Minimum of 12 years working experience with at least 3 years in a corporate Strategy function or Transformation team, top-tier Management Consulting firm or Investment bank

+ Experience leading strategic assessment or development projects that have included members of a cross-functional, senior leadership team, ideally in a global organization

+ Conceptual knowledge of core business disciplines such as Strategy, Finance, Accounting, Marketing, and Commercial Operations

+ Demonstrated financial modeling skills

+ Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal

+ Understanding of industry trends and factors that impact pharma or animal health business in order to define and translate strategy

+ Attention to detail

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
  • Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science or equivalent from a fully-accredited college or university.
  • 3+ years of experience as Senior or Lead QA Engineer within in a quality assurance team environment.
    Must possess a willingness and aptitude to embrace new ideas and master concepts rapidly.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Familiarity and experience working with various testing stages such as unit testing, integration testing, and system testing enterprises.
  • Knowledge of and some experience with automated testing tools, applications and languages such as QTP, UFT, Selenium, SoapUI, C#, and JAVA.
  • Relational Database knowledge including SQL programming: understanding of queries and stored procedures.
  • Experience or demonstrated knowledge of Loan Origination Systems within the mortgage industry.
  • Working knowledge of Agile Test Methodology is essential.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Must be a responsive, flexible team player that is self-motivated, self-starting, and enthusiastic.

**JOB SUMMARY:**
Performs quality control inspections, checks, and tests during the manufacture of products. Inspects materials, parts and products at different stages of production. Records observations and may make recommendations for improving processes.
**WORK DEVICES:**
Computer, leak tester, gram scale, gauges, heat sealer, coffee pot, oven, die cutters, forms, tape measure, dye syringes, labels, reject tickets, and laser synergy Q & N dimensions, NDC scanner, face unit.
**DESCRIPTION OF TASKS:**
+ Perform all duties in a safe and orderly manner.
+ Actively engaged, involved, and current in SWO process; Participate in safety meetings and safety tours.
+ Ensure production of products consistent with established food safety, sanitation and quality standards.
+ Ensure product quality requirements are maintained using predetermined testing methods
+ Perform incoming inspection and release of incoming raw materials.
+ Monitor in-process part quality for conformance to standards, and perform and record in-process testing.
+ Manage non-conforming materials in Manufacturing. Pro; Maintain in-process defect library.
+ Complete visual inspection of blanks, cups, bottom stock and lids to ensure they are free from defects.
+ Conduct leak tests on cups; Conduct critical checks of cup dimensions
+ Perform paper testing, checking basis weight, width, adhesion, pin hole testing, dyne check, delamination, wicking, moisture, heat seal, coat weights.
+ Perform tear downs, and ensure packaging and contents match the product specification sheet.
+ Approve release of finished product for storage and shipping, and dispose of defective product.
+ Notify supervisor and/or group leader of problems that arise that are beyond the scope of the QAC's duties
+ Maintain 5S in assigned area by keeping work area and equipment clean and orderly.
+ Once qualified, instruct and train other QAC's.
+ Communicate with oncoming shift about any issues.
+ Actively participate in daily team production meetings - communicates key items within the plant environment on safety, quality, maintenance, production and continuous improvement
+ Fulfill overtime requirements necessary to ensure production requirements are met.
+ Perform miscellaneous duties, as assigned.
+ Assist in other areas or perform other duties, as assigned.
**SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS**
+ Solid computer experience, including Microsoft Office products: Outlook, Access and Excel and other critical computer applications
+ Prior quality experience in manufacturing very helpful.
+ Ability to work in a high paced and multi-task environment.
+ Demonstrated organizational skills and detail orientation.
+ Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
+ Ability to follow verbal or written instructions.
+ Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills.
