General Radiology Mercy Hospital

Cleveland Clinic is currently seeking a Board Eligible/Certified Radiologist to join our team of established radiologists at Mercy Hospital in Canton, Ohio. Formal fellowship training in Body or Breast Imaging is preferred, but can be offset with experience. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with general and procedural radiology. Special expertise in mammography is highly desired. This position does NOT require evening or overnight rotations.

Our radiologists enjoy an interesting and diverse case mix. Some sub-specialized cases are read by our main campus radiologists. We take great pride in placing a strong emphasis on quality over quantity. Our radiologists are not measured solely on productivity, as we believe it is more important to maintain manageable workloads to allow our radiologists to focus on quality outcomes.

The Division of General Radiology includes an extensive system of community hospitals and ambulatory care facilities as well as imaging centers in the Greater Cleveland/Akron, Ohio area. All departments and outpatient facilities are networked with PACS (AGFA EI), Voice Recognition (Powerscribe 360) and EMR (EPIC). We are a Critical access hospital with 30 Swing beds along with our Emergency department. We work together to restore patients to their highest level of independence in preparation to return home after hospitalization. We are a multi-disciplinary team that strives to bring that personal touch to healthcare, and serve the rural area of Watonga, OK.   

Qualifications:

• Education: Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program
• Licensure: Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.
• Physical requirements/demands: Position requires individuals to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis. Position requires prolonged standing and walking each shift. Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties
• Certifications: ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
• BLS (Basic Life Support) or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire
• Other unit specific certifications as required or acquisition of certification within department required timeframe.

Overview:

• The Clinical Supervisor assures delivery of safe, high-quality and cost-effective care provided by competent co-workers. They ensure efficient utilization of available resources to meet productivity and financial goals.
• Clinical Supervisor works collaboratively and effectively with other administrative personnel, physicians and co-workers to communicate and improve processes across the continuum.
• Clinical Supervisor ensures units are appropriately staffed to provide patient care.
• Clinical Supervisor is proactively involved in patient flow and bed management issues in collaboration with the Staffing Office. They are leaders who inspire a shared vision, demonstrating the value of change and presenting it to co-workers with enthusiasm.
• Clinical Supervisor models the way by displaying professional standards, a positive attitude, and engaging co-workers to become leaders of change. • Certification/Registration: Must have American Heart Association Healthcare Provider card or complete a course within probation period. TNCC, ACLS and ENPC or PALS.
• Skills, Knowledge and Abilities : Demonstrates skills in human relations and communication, written verbal, and electronic.
  • Demonstrates clinical competence in patient care delivery.
  • Possesses the ability to assess data and assist personnel in providing appropriate level of care.
