PCAs earn real world experience by partnering with their local Pearson team on campus through digital presentations, sales calls, and technology registration tables.
At Pearson, the student voice matters! PCAs help shape Pearson products by providing valuable feedback through focus groups, surveys, and other projects. PCAs create content for our global brand across major social media platforms to engage students on your campus and beyond.
**Responsibilities and Schedule Requirements:**
+ Our ideal candidate demonstrates teamwork, with the ability to work at a variety of times Monday through Friday - daytime with some evening hours for virtual calls.
+ In this hybrid role, PCAs work in-person with their local Pearson team 1-2 times per month to deliver back-to-school help for their peers, plus participate in faculty presentations where needed.
+ PCAs complete an average of 5-7 virtual projects each month. This includes providing input, opinions, and content in varying formats such as participating in focus groups, test-driving products in development, completing surveys, creating social media content. PCAs attend 3-4 virtual calls per month.
+ PCAs serve as brand ambassadors for Pearson and are expected to help create content for the Pearson brand, interact with Pearson social media accounts and share Pearson content on their own social media platforms.
+ This is a part-time position requiring between 5-10 hours per week during the academic year, with some planning work required before each semester/term.
**Qualifications:**
+ Currently an undergraduate student (freshman or sophomore) with a 3.0 GPA or greater at the Miami Dade College Kendall Campus
+ Open to ALL majors
+ Able to commit to work for one academic school year. We prefer students to continue on in the program until graduation

- Maintains pharmacy records according to established rules and regulations and standard pharmacy practices.
- Provides information to medical personnel on matters pertaining to pharmacy as needed.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE :

Primary Job Responsibilities/Tasks:

Manage a portfolio of 300 donors, including current and prospective donors.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORKING CONDITIONS

After-hours business work is required occasionally throughout the year.
Environment: Environment: This position works in a typical office setting and in the community. **Required Qualifications**
- Minimum of 3 years of experience practicing motivational interviewing techniques to support behavior change, health coaching, fitness instruction, nutrition counseling, or related roles
- Health Coach certification, or a related credential (NBHWC, ACSM, AFPA, Wellcoaches)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, and OneNote.
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
- Willingness to work onsite at the customer's worksite five days a week, with occasional availability outside of standard business hours.

**Position Summary**
Acts as the primary resource for assigned, high profile providers and/or groups (i.e. local, individual providers, small groups/systems) to establish, oversee, and maintain positive relationships by assisting with or responding to complex issues regarding Medicaid policies and procedures, plan design, contract language, service, claims or compensation issues, and provider education needs.
+ Optimizes interactions with assigned providers and internal business partners to establish and maintain productive, professional relationships.
+ Monitors service capabilities and collaborate cross- functionally to ensure that the needs of constituents are met and that escalated issues related but not limited to, claims payment, contract interpretation or parameters, and accuracy of provider contract or demographic information are resolved.
+ Supports or assists with operational activities that may include, but are not limited to, database management, and contract coordination.
+ Performs credentialing support activities as needed.
+ Educates Medicaid providers as needed to ensure compliance with contract policies and parameters, plan design, compensation process, technology, policies, and procedures.
+ Meets with key Providers at regular intervals to ensure service levels meet expectations.
+ Manages the development of agenda, validates materials, and facilitates external provider meetings.
+ Collaborate cross-functionally with the implementation of large provider systems, to manage cost drivers and execute specific cost initiatives to support business objectives and to identify trends and enlist assistance in problem resolution.
+ May provide guidance and training to less experienced team members.
+ Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal, problem resolution and critical thinking skills.
+ Collaborate with Provider Enablement & Strategy on Provider-facing communications, desktops, workflows, external trainings, reporting needs, and HUB support.
+ Other duties as assigned.
**Required Qualifications**
+ A minimum of 5 years' work experience in healthcare.
+ Minimum of 3 years' experience in Medicaid Managed Care business segment environment servicing providers with exposure to benefits and/or contract interpretation.
+ Working knowledge of business segment specific codes, products, and terminology.
+ Travel within the defined territory up to 50-80% of the time.
+ **Must reside in FL - Miami Dade or Broward County**
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Knowledge of Medicaid Regulatory Standards for Network Access, Credentialing, Claim Lifecycle, Provider Appeals & Disputes, and Network Performance Standards.
+ Experience in Medical Terminology, CPT, ICD-10 codes, etc.
**Education**
+ Bachelor's degree preferred or a combination of professional work experience and education.
