Activities day to day will vary and may include:

**Required Education, Experience, & Skills**
+ 4 years experience working on RF/Microwave chip and wire designs within the frequency range of 50MHz to 20GHz.
+ Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
+ Experience testing and troubleshooting RF frequency converters including an understanding of submodules such as low-noise amplifiers, pre-selectors, filter banks, mixers, Phased-locked-loops (PLLs), and Local Oscillators (LOs).
+ Motivated self-starter with leadership skills and ability to effectively work in a team environment
+ Excellent problem-solving skills, judgment, and analytical capability.

+ Lead an analog/digital team and define the signals between analog and digital interface and make sure the quality of final digital delivery.

**Job Description**
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Principal RF Engineer to join our team on the EPAWSS (Eagle Passive/Active Warning and Survivability System) program. As a Senior Principal RF Engineer, you will play a key role in leading the design, development, and testing of RF systems and modules, including the Quad Tuner Module (QTM), Quad Up-converter Module (QUM), Input Switch Matrix (ISM), Output Switch Module (OSM), and RF Front End (RFFE). Responsibilities include design and hands-on testing of microwave components, cards and systems plus providing technical support to production activities. Team leadership skills including cost and schedule management plus proposal writing and presentation experience are desired.

**What You Will Do**
+ Design of RF microwave components and phased array applications
+ Integration and test of component level and system level phased array hardware
+ Some travel to integration sites, plus customer and subcontractor facilities, may be required
**Qualifications You Must Have**
+ Typically requires a Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of ten years of prior relevant experience to include any combination of the following:
+ Microwave/RF system, subsystem and component analysis, design and test
+ Experience with electromagnetic simulation tools such as HFSS, ADS, CST, Mentor Graphics' Xpedition and analytical tools such as Matlab
**Qualifications We Prefer**
+ Background designing and testing analog CCAs, including frequency conversion, automatic gain control, amplifier design and analog filter design
+ Understanding of allocating and flowing down requirements from the system to the component level
+ Knowledge of cost estimating, plus budget and schedule management
+ Strong academic background that includes courses in: Microwave Engineering, Microwave Systems, Electromagnetic Theory and Radar Systems
+ Strong hands on experience with microwave testing techniques, including using spectrum analyzers, Real-time Spectrum Analyzers (RSAs), Vector Network Analyzers (VNAs) and Performance Network Analyzer (PNAs)
