What youll get to do:

1. Conducts technical analysis of product implementations, modifications, and enhancements in accordance with customer specifications.

Basic Qualifications

1. Associates Degree in a STEM field plus 2 years of electronic/technical experience, OR relevant military experience in electronic/technical environments.
2. Formal training in computers, test applications, PC maintenance network requirements, TCP/IP or other protocols, and small computer or network administration.
3. Must have a demonstrated working knowledge of electronic and computer principles and techniques.
4. Familiarity with networks, network protocols, and computer system administration.
5. Must possess a valid Drivers License with no suspensions or restrictions.
6. Ability and willingness to travel up to 50% of the time and work a flexible schedule that may include overnights and/or weekend support.

Salary Range: $49,162.00 - $117,638.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. The selected candidate will support the United States Space Force Space Training and Readiness Command (STARCOM) Headquarters.

Applicants should have experience in acquisition lifecycle and multiple phases of the test and evaluation process. Strong applicants will have experience creating, evaluating, and critically reviewing test plans in the areas of developmental testing, operational testing, and live-fire testing, particularly in the area of testing space systems utilizing design of experiments techniques. Experience evaluating both small subsystem test results and major system program results is highly desired. In addition, applicants should have familiarity with major DoD acquisition programs as part of the SpaceForce acquisition process. Successful applicants should be adept at decomposing complex systems into functional elements using sound mission engineering principles and determining test objectives applicable to each. Test Analysts/Engineers/Operations Analysts must have the ability to self-teach and stay current with the best T&E and M&S tools and techniques for evaluating capabilities. • Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the field in lieu of each year of education.
• At least 2 years of experience in Information Technology.

• At least 2 years of experience in SOA testing and web service test automation using tools such as Rational Integration Tester and SoapUI.
• Experience in service, end-to-end, and regression testing of SOA-based applications.
• Experience with Service Virtualization using Rational Integration Tester.
• Proficiency with tools like RQM, Bamboo, JIRA, and Stash.
• At least 2 years of experience in test case creation and execution.
• Experience with scripting languages or automation tools such as Groovy, Core Java, Unix commands, and shell scripting.
• Experience in the Healthcare domain is preferred.
• Strong team collaboration and client interfacing skills.
• Analytical skills and experience working in a global delivery environment.

The successful candidate will demonstrate an ability to champion the customer experience, demonstrate skill in managing multiple functional area interests, and have a demonstrated skill set and passion for testing.

The Test Analyst will have the following accountabilities:

• Identifying testing efforts required based on design and requirement documents

• Developing test cases/scripts for functional and regression testing

• Effectively executing web application test cases to meet project deadlines

• Working with project tools (Microsoft TFS) for test case management & execution, defect reporting, and training others where needed

• Identifying areas for test automation as well as developing test automation configurations & scripts

• Anticipating tasks to meet schedule deadlines and resolving issues to avoid delays

• Monitoring individual test progress by constantly assessing assigned work against deadlines

• Presenting testing status to team leads and managers

• Creating a fun and conducive working environment for maximum throughput

Required Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in a Computer Science, IT Management, or related field

• Minimum 3 years of experience executing and reporting on web application test efforts

• Minimum 3 years of experience writing test cases/scripts for web applications

• Experience with QA strategies and best practices for web application testing

• Experience writing SQL queries to condition and access test data and to validate results

• Strong interpersonal communication skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact with a diverse group including executives, managers, and subject matter experts (technical and non-technical)

• Strong attention to detail

Desired Skills:

• Previous State of California government testing experience

• Experience with Microsoft Team Foundation Server or Azure DevOps ALM tools, including Microsoft Test Manager or Azure Test Plans

• Experience with IVR (Interactive Voice Response) testing

• Experience with Tricentis Tosca (test automation tool)

• Experience with cross-browser testing
