Information Digital Technology & Security (IDT&S) is seeking a specialist to support multiple manufacturing and quality applications used by Interiors Responsibility Centers.
In this role, you will design, program, test, implement, document, and maintain software applications. You will gather and evaluate end-user requirements, write code, and build database objects from documented designs.
You will analyze application architecture to define security, compatibility, identify and resolve programming or architectural issues, and modify applications to maintain functionality. The role also includes addressing technical debt, monitoring system performance, and recommending improvements.
**Position Responsibilities:**
+ Designs, programs, tests, implements, documents and maintains computing applications
+ Gathers and evaluates end user requirements
+ Writes and compiles code and constructs database objects based on documented design and analyzes information to determine architecture specifications, parameters for software compatibility, application security needs and other application architecture requirements
+ Modifies or upgrades applications to maintain software functionality
+ Identifies and resolves programming or application architecture problems
+ Reviews system performance and identifies and recommends improvements
+ Performs testing, software security compliance and remediation, and documenting procedures for maintaining the as-built system
**Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):**
+ 3+ years of experience in Object Oriented Application Development
+ 3+ years of experience using Microsoft .NET products in a software development environment
+ 3+ years of experience using SQL for application interactions with databases (i.e. Oracle, MYSQL, SQL Server, etc.)
+ 3+ years of experience with Visual Basic for Applications (VBA)

+ Develop site layout, grading, storm water management, vehicular circulation, underground utilities, retaining walls, erosion control, and wastewater management design.

Who You Are
**Required Qualifications**
+ BSCE (Bachelor of Science in Civil or Environmental Engineering) degree from an ABET accredited university.
+ Engineer-In-Training (EIT) certification or capability to achieve within two years.
+ 3+ years of relevant post education experience in engineering discipline and prior civil design experience.
+ Experience in site design for utilities, industrial facilities, municipal infrastructure, storm drainage and stormwater management design, site grading, roadway and utility design, sanitary sewer design and analysis, construction specification development and development of construction bid packages.
+ Capable interpersonal and communication skills when interacting with others, expressing ideas effectively and professionally to an engineering and non-engineering audience.

+ Design mechanical piping and equipment for renewable and fossil power generation facilities
+ Prepare mechanical equipment and packaged equipment specifications and data sheets, RFQs, and technical bid evaluations
