Key job responsibilities
1. Develop data products, infrastructure and data pipelines leveraging AWS services (such as Redshift, Kinesis, EMR, Lambda etc.) and internal BDT tools (Datanet, Cradle, QuickSight etc.
2. Improve existing solutions/build solutions to improve scale, quality, IMR efficiency, data availability, consistency & compliance.
3. Partner with Software Developers, Business Intelligence Engineers, MLEs, Scientists, and Product Managers to develop scalable and maintainable data pipelines on both structured and unstructured (text based) data.
4. Drive operational excellence strongly within the team and build automation and mechanisms to reduce operations

The MIDAS team operates within Amazon's Digital Analytics (DA) engineering organization, building analytics and data engineering solutions that support cross-digital teams. Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 3+ years of data engineering experience
- 3+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc. experience
- Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
- Experience working on and delivering end to end projects independently
- Experience in at least one modern scripting or programming language, such as Python, Java, Scala, or NodeJS

Job Description
The Manager of Database Management & Analytics is responsible for implementing project-specific safety database configurations to meet regulatory and business needs. This role involves participating in system validation activities, performing quality checks on configuration changes, and serving as a system administrator. You will work closely with the CSPV and DBMA teams to ensure accurate configuration forms and coordinate with safety system service providers.
Responsibilities
+ Assist in implementing project-specific safety database configurations.
+ Participate in system validation activities for safety databases and related systems.
+ Perform quality checks on configuration changes and resolve discrepancies.
+ Serve as a system administrator, managing configurations and master data updates.
+ Collaborate with CSPV and DBMA teams to complete configuration forms.
+ Maintain best practices for safety database configurations and other related processes.
+ Assist with data management of safety-related PV systems.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
+ Experience supporting Oracle Argus Safety.
+ Experience in safety reporting applications.
+ Knowledge of relational databases, specifically Oracle and SQL.
+ Understanding of Electronic Data Interchange, particularly Axway B2Bi Interchange.
+ Knowledge of global safety reporting requirements and ICH E2B guidelines.
+ BS in Computer Science or equivalent qualification with at least four years of experience in Pharmacovigilance.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Knowledge of PV reports is helpful.
+ Professional and proactive demeanor.
Work Environment
The role is predominantly office-based, with a preference for local candidates who can work on-site one day a week.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $68.77 - $75.78/hr.
