**Role Overview:**
We are seeking a Cloud Migration Specialist with deep expertise in Microsoft Azure to lead and execute cloud migration initiatives within our healthcare insurance organization. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in migrating complex workloads to Azure, ensuring secure, scalable, and compliant cloud infrastructure aligned with healthcare industry standards.
**In this role, you will:**
+ Lead end-to-end cloud migration projects using Azure Migrate, Database Migration Service (DMS), and Azure Site Recovery.
+ Design and implement Azure infrastructure components including Virtual Machines, Networking, Storage, and Security.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess existing infrastructure and define migration strategies.
+ Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform for consistent and repeatable deployments.
+ Ensure compliance with healthcare data protection regulations (e.g., HIPAA) during migration and post-migration phases.
+ Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure and migration processes.
+ Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and stakeholders.

**What you need to have to be considered**
+ Minimum **8 years** of experience in **Azure engineering and migration** .
+ Strong hands-on expertise in:
+ **Azure Infrastructure** : VMs, Networking (VNETs, NSGs, VPNs), Storage (Blob, Files), Security (IAM, RBAC, Policies).
+ **Azure Migration Tools** : Azure Migrate, DMS, Azure Site Recovery.
+ **Terraform** for IaC deployments.
+ Proven experience in large-scale cloud migration projects, preferably in regulated industries.
+ Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
**These will help you stand out**
+ Experience in healthcare or insurance domain.
+ Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
+ Knowledge of other cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) is a plus.

**Salary and Other Compensation:**

The annual salary for this position is between $73,350 to $116,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
