Effectively coordinates lab participation in community and hospital sponsored health events when needed in coordination with the LIS department's marketing personnel & ARRL Operations Mgr or Mgr. Client Services. Communicates all new or updated protocols to appropriate staff in a timely manner.
3. *Regulatory affairs and safety:* Oversee the safety issues of the department and is the liaison for interdepartmental and hospital-wide safety. Monitoring and assuring compliance of regulatory requirements, CAP/AABB/FDA/JCAHO/DPH inspection oversight Regulatory affairs and safety. Chairs PCE Subcommittee and maintains minutes, develops and implements routine audits for tracking QA.
4. *Point-of-care testing:* Guides and oversees the POCT Program. Evaluate and propose new tests and instruments Point-of-care testing. Oversees the implementation of new POCT testing, procedures or instrumentation. Performs audits for hospital POCT programs.
5. *Other duties and functions*: Participates as an effective "Shift Officer" within the ARRL and its assigned tasks including weekend supervisory coverage. Assigns and monitors special projects per request of the Pathologists and/or Administrative Director. Participates in personal continuing education activities. Attends departmental and supervisory meetings.
6. *Education / Training: *Performs staff training and completion of training checklist for new hires and existing staff. When required creates and conducts training seminars in matters of safety, quality, security and other policy issues. Designs competency assessment tools to verify staff competency as it pertains to the ARRL personnel. In conjunction with the Operations Manager develop cross-training programs tailored to the job descriptions and needs of each staff member.
7. *Education Coordinator:* Efficiently schedules all students from affiliated institutions for rotations throughout the Department of Pathology. Acts as an effective liaison between affiliated schools and Norwalk Hospital. Represents the Hospital and/or Department of Pathology at various educational programs both internal and external as assigned.
8. Performs other duties as assigned.
9. Fulfills all compliance responsibilities related to the position.
Required: BS MT (ASCP) required. Five plus years of experience in the role of Safety Officer for a Hospital or health center based clinical laboratory is required and extensive Quality Assurance experience including regulatory affairs is a needed for this highly visible position. Master degree prepared candidate is preferred but not required.
Desired: Being able to develop, communicate and monitor QA and Safety Program within the Clinical lab

Responsibilities and Duties:
- Log and Scan equipment shipments - ensure accuracy in record keeping and inventory maintenance, maintain tracking spreadsheets and/or databases as well as opening and updating tracking tickets.
- Assist as needed with special projects for installation or reorganization of mining equipment.
- Assist with basic maintenance on miners, such as fan and power supply replacement.
- Monitor mining pool data and communicate significant changes.
- Identify when issues are affecting the production environment.
- Escort approved visitors in and out of various locations throughout the facility to work on equipment.
- Assist over the phone, this may include simple troubleshooting and equipment reboots.

**Description**
The Autonomous Mining Pit Technician I is responsible for assisting the Autonomous Mining Controls Specialist and Autonomous Mining System Coordinator on operational changes that should be made to optimize autonomous operations and individual truck operations within the mine. Additionally, this role will be responsible for assisting the execution of manual interventions to solve various autonomous system issues that may arise.
+ Responsible for assisting with conducting regular surveys and validations of the Autonomous Operation Zone (AOZ) in compliance with health and safety guidelines.
+ Assist in Identifying truck behaviors that require maintenance or optimization and inform appropriate personnel. Interact with the Autonomous Haulage System(AHS) system as needed for manual interventions.
+ Assist with the prioritization of tasks to meet shift objectives, including completing and validating shift reports, handovers, and documenting any follow-up issues
+ Assist with daily pit inspections, validating mine model changes, optimizing system configuration for AMT (Autonomous Mining Truck) performance, recovering and intervening with trucks, investigating AMT stoppages, documenting and entering data accurately, monitoring operations and truck performance, and ensuring truck availability in the correct mode."
+ Ensure prompt communication with affected parties about modified plans or decisions, promote safe and collaborative working relationships with peers and supervisors, provide necessary information to team members and contractors, and coordinate activities with other departments, internal and external, including maintenance and engineering.
