Duties/Responsibilities
- 80% Reside on Shop floor -> Perform Process/Quality Audit, Training, Data Collection/Capture improvements via ECR, and Process Sheets.
- Lead cross-functional teams to deploy standard operating procedures and process improvements.
- Utilize LEAN principles and tools to eliminate waste
- Actively participates in the analysis of production and process issues, recommends solutions to further business goals and works with the appropriate teams in the plant to implement those solutions.
- Participates in kaizen events and workshops to solve urgent business needs.
- Develops requirement documents and conducts systems testing, training, and related documentation, as necessary.
- Perform all assigned tasks in a safe, efficient, timely, and accurate and highly productive manner according to company policy.
- Attend scheduled work hours on a regular and timely basis. Maintain good attendance.
- Develop and maintain strong, positive business relationships with key internal clients, external customers and suppliers to clearly understand their business processes, and the development/articulation of short and long term business objectives.

Primary Duties/Responsibilities- Responsible for learning how to oversee store operations, resources, and budgets to ensure all goals and benchmarks are met or exceeded.
- Model core values to establish a culture with an understanding and commitment to safety, ethics, and quality within the store.
- Supervise, direct, and train assigned staff and ensure they perform their essential/primary functions.
- Provide superior internal and external customer service to ensure repeat donors, shoppers, and staff retention and de-escalate customer dissatisfaction quickly and effectively.
- Coach and counsel employees concerning the performance of their job duties, including discipline up to and including termination.
- Exercise independent judgment in assigning daily job duties to achieve daily operational tasks.
- Helps to identify and recommend employees with proven performance for advancement.
- Safeguards company property and personal information from harm, damage, or theft. Reports any theft, misappropriation, unethical/inappropriate behavior, or unauthorized possession of company property to a member of management, Human Resources, or Risk Management.
- Must read, follow, model, and enforce all agency policies, procedures, and values.
- Utilizes efficient staffing methods to ensure the store is staffed appropriately. Arranges for replacements of absent employees when necessary. Audits, edits, and approves payroll.
- Eliminates wasteful practices through process improvement.
- Maintains a professional appearance, adhering to MERS Goodwill's dress code.
- Completion of the MERS Goodwill's Leadership Development Cohort Program.
- Other duties as assigned.

- High School diploma or GED preferred.
- Experience in retail sales preferred.
- Experience to perform the essential duties, responsibilities and working in the conditions described below.

- Safeguard and account for all money received and disbursed.
- Perform all other financial analysis necessary to maximize sales and net profits.
- Performs approximately all work indoors but will be required to work outside in order to clean parking lots, gas pumps, take out garbage, etc.
- Be exposed to occasional cold temperature extremes while supervising or managing store employees performing occasional work in a walk-in cooler and/or freezer.
