Project Summary & Overview
This project involves migrating legacy applications from outdated platforms (e.g., Microsoft Server 2008 and later, IIS, SQL Server, ASP, ASP.Net) to modern Microsoft Servers. Up to 150 applications will be assessed for modernization, including modification, re-platforming, rebuilding, or decommissioning. All applications must be thoroughly tested on new technologies before legacy systems are retired.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist with testing efforts to ensure the successful migration of legacy applications to modern Microsoft Servers.
- Participate in an initial 3-week onsite period, working 3 days per week at 1 North Old State Capital Plaza, Springfield, IL.
- After the introductory period, work onsite 3 days per month, with potential for up to 3 additional days per month as needed.
- Execute test cases and report results, ensuring applications function as expected after migration.
- Work with senior team members to develop an understanding of testing requirements.
- Assist with documenting test results and identifying issues for further review.
- Participate in team meetings and provide support during the testing phase period.
- Experience: Some experience in application testing, such as internships or coursework related to software quality assurance or technology projects.
- Technical Knowledge:
- Basic familiarity with Microsoft technologies (e.g., Microsoft Server, IIS, SQL Server, ASP, ASP.Net).
- Willingness to learn how to create and execute test cases based on functional and technical requirements.

What we are looking for in a qualified candidate:
- Strong mechanical aptitude

Requirements:
• Bachelors or Masters in CS or related degrees.
• Minimum of 10+ years of hand on experience in software development in test automation, concurrent coding skills in Java.
• Experience in building automation frameworks and/or contributing to the frameworks.
• Experience in API testing, UI and mobile testing
• Experience with test frameworks like JUnit, TestNG.
• Familiarity with BDD and/or Cucumber
• Experience with code versioning tools (Git, SVN)
Core Competencies:
• Experience in Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD).
• Experience with using open source libraries to bring in efficiencies.
• Experience with Jira or similar Agile process tools.
• Experience with using defect management and test management tools.
• Excellent SQL knowledge with the ability to write complex queries for validation as well as review stored procedures for verification.
• Experience creating strategies to cover vendor integrations.
• bility to thrive in a fast-paced environment where resourcefulness, determination, and strong problem-solving skills are necessary for success.
• Strong application debugging skills.
• Experience with different testing methodologies.
• Positive attitude and the ability to complete assigned objectives with minimal supervision.

Mobile Testing Tech Needed in Fort Worth, TX
We are seeking a Mobile Testing Technician who will operate a traveling Mobile Testing Lab for dielectric testing and inspections of high-voltage personal protective equipment and Bucket Trucks.
Responsibilities include:
- Inspect and clean mechanical hoists, ground sets, mechanical jumpers, rubber coverup and hot sticks
- Build custom mechanical jumpers and ground sets
- Perform high-voltage dielectric testing
- Perform annual and DOT inspections of Bucket Trucks
- Perform dielectric oil testing
- Maintain accurate testing data
- Follow all employer health/safety rules and operating procedures
- Proper housekeeping
What we are looking for in a qualified candidate:
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Background in repairing hydraulic systems or tools
- Preferred background in repairing mechanical, battery, electric and gas-powered tools
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. or more
- Clean MVR required and the ability to travel 70% of the time
- Requires strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to work different shifts (days/evenings) and some weekends
- Two to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
