About the Mobile Network Engineering on Android position

You will build the first prototype of our mobile passive metering tool. Your time will be split:

• 10% sharing your ideas and expertise within your team to help plan and prepare your product initiatives

This Sr. Wireless Network Engineer is being brought in to a large distribution company at the senior level, to help install, configure and maintain wireless networks. As a Wireless Network Engineer, you will be essential in facilitating effective wireless communication and enabling the digital connectivity of the UCSF community across the Health, Education, Research, and Business missions. Provides network engineering and technical support for wireless network infrastructure, ensuring systems operate at peak efficiency with little to no downtime. The Wireless Network Engineer will report to the Associate Director, Wired and Wireless, who serves as a technical engineer for the network services team at UCSF. Department Description

The Network Services team within Infrastructure Services holds a critical role in managing, maintaining, and developing the company's computer network infrastructure, particularly ensuring reliable technical accessibility for individuals engaged in vital medical and health research work. Their core responsibilities include providing secure internet and network services, managing IT services, and maintaining data systems. They support end-users, manage system updates, repairs, and connectivity issues, and play an essential role in troubleshooting network issues, optimizing performance, and implementing protocols. Required Qualifications
