**What You Will Do**
+ Streamline data collection and communication methodologies, reducing manual work and improving turnaround times
+ Collect, analyze, and transform process data into meaningful insights, delivering executive level reports and recommendations as needed

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.

In this role you will partner with and provide excellent customer service to People Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, HR Operations, our external vendor partners, and employees to support new hires and internally transferring employees. You will support updating our documented processes and standard operating procedures and recommending process improvements.
**About the Team**
As a potential job applicant considering a position in the Global Mobility & Immigration team at Nutanix, you would be joining a dedicated team of 4 members spread across different locations globally. **Your Role**
+ Partner as part of the global mobility team to facilitate the America Immigration program and global relocation program to provide a good employee experience and service delivery.
+ Work collaboratively with the Program Manager to track cases, provide data on case metrics to help inform global strategy, and ensure deadlines are timely met.
+ Assist with cases associated with non-immigrant and immigrant visa filings, including H-1B, TN, E-3, L-1, O-1, J-1, PERM, EB-1, EB-2, and EB-3 cases, as well as global visas.
+ Knowledge of the I-9 compliance process, form, and acceptable employment eligibility documents as required by the USCIS to maintain compliance with federal regulations.
+ Conduct routine green card tasks such as postings, advertisements, and educating managers and employees on the process.
+ Initiate services with outside vendors to assist with immigration, relocation and tax services.
+ Monitor changes to employment status, job title, office location and salary and notify appropriate stakeholders.
+ Support our vendor relationship to mitigate potential risks before they occur.
+ Support the day-to-day operations and activities with the Immigration and relocation vendors to ensure compliance, cost-effectiveness and optimal service levels to our employees.
+ Provide consultative support prior to and during domestic moves and cross border transfers, including cost analysis and vendor initiation and coordination.
+ Support managing the process with employees, managers, and people business partners for employees who may need to be relocated due to maxing out on their work permits
+ Help develop and maintain knowledge based articles to support our "self-service" initiatives.
+ Ensure foreign nationals are well-informed by the vendors regarding all stages of their immigrant status including timely documentation, strategy, and case progression.
+ Audit vendor invoices for domestic and international programs (e.g. relocation management company, immigration law firm, tax consultants, etc.)
+ Monitor immigration mailbox - Handle day-to-day inquiries regarding global mobility policies/programs as well as requests for information from managers, employees, recruiting team and outside immigration counsel.
+ Maintain appropriate information in our immigration and global mobility records, including Public Access Files.
**What You Will Bring**
+ 5+ years of U.S. Immigration experience (F1, H1B, L1, TN) and the entire Green Card process to include in-depth expertise administering corporate immigration programs in a corporate HR setting
+ Additional experience in a law firm setting with large corporate clients a plus.
+ Knowledge of global Immigration requirements within EMEA and APAC regions.
+ A thorough understanding of US domestic relocation/international transfers and mobility tax compliance requirements.
+ Experience with electronic I-9 Systems & E-verify, I-9 compliance and employment eligibility verification.

**Work Arrangement**
Hybrid: This role operates in a hybrid capacity, blending the benefits of remote work with the advantages of in-person collaboration. Additional team-specific guidance and norms will be provided by your manager.
The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between USD $ 83,840 and USD $ 168,120 per year.
However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

Key Responsibilities

Immigration & Compliance

  • Coordinate U.S. immigration processes (H-1B, L-1, OPT, PR, B visas, etc.) including petitions, renewals, and withdrawals.
  • Manage H-1B Cap process (kick-off emails, manager/HRBP sessions in December/January).
  • Maintain Public Access Files (PAF) for H-1B cases.
  • Respond to employee immigration queries and advise on visa options, relocation processes, and required documentation.
  • Coordinate with immigration lawyers on case filings and reviews.
  • Review and approve immigration-related invoices (Keshab, Vialto, cross-country transfers).
  • Track visa expirations, renewals, and employee statuses; maintain immigration trackers in Excel and SuccessFactors.
  • Issue B-1 invitation letters, maintain short-term visitor tracker, and notify local HR/reps of visitor arrivals and departures.
  • Handle L-1 petition withdrawals.
  • Ensure compliance with USCIS and federal/state employment requirements; maintain updated process guides.

Global Mobility & Assignments

  • Coordinate end-to-end assignment lifecycle for employees relocating to the U.S., including onboarding, during-assignment support, and repatriation.
  • Provide relocation support such as housing, transportation, SSN setup, and banking arrangements.
  • Prepare and deliver welcome packs for assignees.
  • Act as focal point for assignment lifecycle in host country; ensure related SuccessFactors tasks are completed on time in partnership with HRBPs and TA.
  • Forward onboarding and offboarding notices to local HR functions and ensure processes are completed.
  • Serve as U.S. entity representative for assignment letters (AL sign-off), coordinating draft reviews with stakeholders (Jessica and Sayini) to confirm eligibility, role/grade, and location changes before finalization.
  • Collaborate with local HRBPs and stakeholders to track, monitor, and close all global mobility-related tasks.
  • Maintain expat files, documentation, and global assignment trackers.

HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle

  • Manage and track headcount planning, HR metrics, and reporting.
  • Oversee employee lifecycle processes including pre-boarding, onboarding, and offboarding.
  • Conduct and coordinate background checks and employment eligibility verifications.
  • Lead new hire orientation and contribute to employee engagement/recognition initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate employee records, HR files, and documentation (SharePoint, HRIS, SuccessFactors).
  • Support HR audits, compliance tracking, and ad hoc HR Business Partner requests.


Projects & Continuous Improvement

  • Participate in special HR and mobility projects as assigned.
  • Identify process improvements and streamline local/global HR and immigration workflows.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives for immigration and mobility systems and databases.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
  • 5+ years of HR experience with U.S. immigration and global mobility.
  • Strong knowledge of H-1B, L-1, OPT, and other U.S. visa processes, including compliance and reporting.
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems (e.g., SuccessFactors) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt under pressure.
  • Customer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving skills.

**Summary**
This role supports the logistical, financial, and administrative aspects of our organization's work authorization/immigration needs and compliance, as well as employee mobility needs and assignments, domestic and international. Serves as the primary contact for employees and their families and interfaces with vendors to ensure compliance with internal policies, employee agreements, and SLA's. This work is done in alignment with the Total Rewards philosophy and HR strategy.
**Key Responsibilities**
Immigration/Work Authorization
+ Partner with business units to identify work authorization needs.
+ Advise HR and leaders regarding work authorization options and requirements.
+ Work with immigration counsel to initiate and complete work authorization requests and renewals. Responsible for completing the required employer activities on a timely and accurate basis.
+ Maintain records of all company sponsored work authorizations and proactively manage renewals and compliance.
Global talent deployments:
+ Responsible for day-to-day activities supporting global talent deployments, inclusive of taxation, COLA, relocation, and other required activities.
+ Partner closely with HR, Talent, HRS, and hiring manager to ensure successful deployments.
+ Coordinate the due diligence process with internal stakeholders and third-party vendors (tax, relocation and expat health & benefits) including cost projection calculation, tax impact assessments and compliance requirements analysis.
+ Research issues and develop recommendations to resolve them.
+ Maintain Global Mobility Tracker.
+ Assist with Globalization Partners contracts and needs.
Domestic Relocation:
+ Ensure vendor activities, decisions, and customer service are in alignment with internal policies, employee agreements, and SLA's.
+ Partner with Talent, HR, and hiring managers to advise on and negotiate employee agreements.
+ Maintain accurate GL coding and validate invoices before processing.
+ If required, initiate and follow cases within vendor portals.
**Typical Education**
Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) from 4 year college or university
**Relevant Experience**
6+ months related experience and/or training
**Required Certifications**
+ Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
+ Global Mobility Specialist (GMS) certification preferred.

Job Title: Contract HR & Global Mobility Specialist (6-Month Assignment)

This 6-month contract position will provide critical support across Human Resources operations and U.S. immigration/global mobility functions, ensuring smooth HR processes, compliance, and a positive employee experience.

Key Responsibilities

Immigration & Compliance

  • Coordinate U.S. immigration processes (H-1B, L-1, OPT, PR, B visas, etc.) including petitions, renewals, and withdrawals.
  • Manage H-1B Cap process (kick-off emails, manager/HRBP sessions in December/January).
  • Maintain Public Access Files (PAF) for H-1B cases.
  • Respond to employee immigration queries and advise on visa options, relocation processes, and required documentation.
  • Coordinate with immigration lawyers on case filings and reviews.
  • Review and approve immigration-related invoices (Keshab, Vialto, cross-country transfers).
  • Track visa expirations, renewals, and employee statuses; maintain immigration trackers in Excel and SuccessFactors.
  • Issue B-1 invitation letters, maintain short-term visitor tracker, and notify local HR/reps of visitor arrivals and departures.
  • Handle L-1 petition withdrawals.
  • Ensure compliance with USCIS and federal/state employment requirements; maintain updated process guides.

Global Mobility & Assignments

  • Coordinate end-to-end assignment lifecycle for employees relocating to the U.S., including onboarding, during-assignment support, and repatriation.
  • Provide relocation support such as housing, transportation, SSN setup, and banking arrangements.
  • Prepare and deliver welcome packs for assignees.
  • Act as focal point for assignment lifecycle in host country; ensure related SuccessFactors tasks are completed on time in partnership with HRBPs and TA.
  • Forward onboarding and offboarding notices to local HR functions and ensure processes are completed.
  • Serve as U.S. entity representative for assignment letters (AL sign-off), coordinating draft reviews with stakeholders (Jessica and Sayini) to confirm eligibility, role/grade, and location changes before finalization.
  • Collaborate with local HRBPs and stakeholders to track, monitor, and close all global mobility-related tasks.
  • Maintain expat files, documentation, and global assignment trackers.

HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle

  • Manage and track headcount planning, HR metrics, and reporting.
  • Oversee employee lifecycle processes including pre-boarding, onboarding, and offboarding.
  • Conduct and coordinate background checks and employment eligibility verifications.
  • Lead new hire orientation and contribute to employee engagement/recognition initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate employee records, HR files, and documentation (SharePoint, HRIS, SuccessFactors).
  • Support HR audits, compliance tracking, and ad hoc HR Business Partner requests.

Projects & Continuous Improvement

  • Participate in special HR and mobility projects as assigned.
  • Identify process improvements and streamline local/global HR and immigration workflows.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives for immigration and mobility systems and databases.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
  • 5+ years of HR experience with U.S. immigration and global mobility.
  • Strong knowledge of H-1B, L-1, OPT, and other U.S. visa processes, including compliance and reporting.
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems (e.g., SuccessFactors) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt under pressure.
  • Customer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Bilingual (English/Mandarin) strongly preferred.

Contract Details

  • Duration: 6 months, with potential extension based on business needs.
  • Type: Contract assignment (not eligible for company benefits).
  • Reports To: Senior Director, Human Resources (U.S.) and Global Mobility Director.

The anticipated pay range for this position is $40.00-$50.00
