About the Role:
We're seeking a highly motivated R&D Laboratory Scientist to join our team and contribute to product development and analytical validation workflows. This role focuses on nucleic acid purification and molecular biology techniques using automated technologies and cutting-edge instrumentation.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Develop and execute design verification and validation test methods for kits, reagents, instruments, and workflows.
+ Extract nucleic acids from plasma, cell culture media, and FFPE samples using automated platforms.
+ Design and modify experimental procedures with minimal guidance.
+ Analyze and interpret experimental data; present findings in structured sessions (10-30 minutes).
+ Maintain detailed lab notebooks and prepare regular reports.
+ Read and reproduce scientific literature to support experimental design.
+ Ensure compliance with lab safety and regulatory protocols.
Required Skills & Expertise:
+ 3-5 years of laboratory experience
+ Strong foundation in molecular biology, PCR, and nucleic acid purification.
+ Proficient in operating standard lab equipment (centrifuges, PCR/qPCR, plate readers, Bioanalyzer).
+ Familiarity with Thermo Fisher and Applied Biosystems instruments (Kingfisher, Quantstudio, Ion Torrent, Nanodrop, Qubit).
+ Experience with NGS workflows and regulated lab environments is a plus.
+ Knowledge of statistical analysis, DOE, Six Sigma, and IVD development.
+ Comfortable working in BSL2 lab settings; mammalian cell culture experience is a bonus.
Education:
+ Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biological Sciences, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $35.00/hr.
