This position is responsible for the design, implementation, and ongoing enhancement of observability solutions in hybrid environments, including on-premises, cloud, and virtual infrastructure. **Key Responsibilities:**

+ Create and update the DISA RE5 ConMon SOP, outlining required activities and artifacts that include the oversight and monitoring of IT systems throughout their lifecycle.
+ Conduct continuous assessments of security controls, perform automated/manual security control monitoring of information systems and provide IS / Security Control Status Reports based on live data from security monitoring tools.
+ Ensure ongoing assessments are in compliance with industry auditor standards to monitor security, vulnerabilities, and threats.
+ Ensure ConMon-related controls are properly implemented in RMF packages within eMASS.
+ Report system risk status using the DISA-approved reporting tool.
+ Maintain the ConMon Dashboard, tracking compliance, POA&M status, CMRS visibility, asset management, FISMA reviews, and annual validations.
+ Track automated and manual security controls, identifying overdue assessments and validations.
+ Coordinate with System, ACAS, and HBSS/ESS Administrators to resolve credentialing and data issues.
+ Provide real-time security status metrics based on the ConMon Strategy and SOP and alert Leidos and government leadership of security posture changes with negative impact.
Basic Qualifications:
+ Active DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility required
+ Current DoD 8570 IAM II or IAT II certification
+ Proficiency in one or more of the following tools: Qmulos, Splunk, ACAS, Axonius, CheckMark, BURP, and HBSS
+ Understanding of the RMF process, NIST SP 800- 37, NIST SP 800-53, CNSSI 1253
+ VMP experience
+ Strong communication, presentation, and customer service skills
+ Education and experience as required per job level:
+ Level I:
+ Bachelor's degree (IT-related field preferred) and three (3) years of overall experience in cybersecurity or network security position. Additional relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree.

Sixense, Inc. is seeking an Instrumentation and Monitoring Engineer out of Torrance, CA to support the deployment and maintenance of structural and geotechnical instrumentation systems. In this hands-on role, you will work closely with the local team to prepare, install, and service a wide range of monitoring equipment in diverse environments.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Summary
Under the supervision of the Project Manager, the candidate will perform field and office-based tasks aligned with company policies, standards, and best practices. You’ll also contribute to project success by providing quality control support, observations, and technical recommendations to the project team.
Main role
- Install and maintain the performance of various geotechnical and structural monitoring instruments following Sixense procedures, including but not limited to datalogging systems and Automatic Motorized Total Stations.
- Assembling instrumentation and Automatic Data Acquisition Systems (ADAS).
- Operation of power tools and hand tools (hammer drill, Sawzall, wrenches, etc.)
- Performing the configuration of the Data Management System.
- Coordinating and communicating with clients, subcontractors, and others.
- Provide timely assistance to engineers and fellow technicians as needed.
- Perform routine maintenance and installations, which may involve working at height, on rail systems, or during night shifts.
Health & Safety
- Actively participate in Sixense’s Health and Safety Program and help foster a positive safety culture.
- Ensure full understanding of all relevant safety protocols before starting any task.
Other General Responsibilities
- Communicate equipment needs, performance issues, or field findings to the Supervisor or Project Manager.
- Occasionally climbing up to ladders and lifting up to 50 lbs. to install or decommission instrumentation.
- Perform additional duties in the workshop or field as needed.
- Seek continuous improvement in operational procedures and workflows.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Education & Experience
- BS Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant field experience.
- Demonstrable experience with the installation and maintenance of geotechnical and structural instruments such as piezometers, inclinometers, extensometers, and total stations.
- Basic understanding of heavy construction means and methods.
- Strong collaboration abilities, working effectively with colleagues and within multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong attention to detail and effective oral and written communication skills.
- Must be technology-minded, have basic knowledge about instrumentation systems, basic programming, software, low-voltage electrical, and remote measurements.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, SharePoint, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat
