We are seeking individuals who have worked in an industrial/service/sales environment to fill the position of System Monitoring Specialist for our Fredericksburg location.
Job Description
The selected candidate will:
1. Be responsible for all Sigma Air Utility compressed air systems through:
1. Remote Monitoring
1. Remote dial-in to the compressor station and evaluate the demand to supply profile.
2. Independently act on system alarms and e-mail notifications.
3. Pro-actively coordinate with servicing partners and/or site personnel to address critical alarms, including dispatching technicians after hours.
4. Monitor service intervals, coordinate scheduling of on-site service and maintenance activity.
5. Schedule and coordinate site visits for regular systems inspections.
6. When required perform site audits to identify potential areas of improvement.
7. Analyze data with Kaeser proprietary software to correlate faults to system operation and recognize system trends.
8. Provide reports based on analyzed data for escalations and management of site performance.
2. Coordinates with the Technical Department to:
1. Independently review service intervals and optimize based on site data analysis.
2. Provide as necessary "real world" data for machine service and maintenance lifecycle calculations.
3. Evaluate necessary improvement initiatives.
4. When necessary supervise site work to assure adherence to the specifications.
5. Perform task and supervise activities within the approved budgets and provide justification when cost overruns occur.
6. Monitors compressors and compressed air stations outside of SAU as required.
2. Responsible for learning and following all applicable procedures and work instructions relating to the Company's quality and environmental system.
3. Performs all other duties assigned by the Manager.
Required Qualifications
The successful candidate's background will include:
+ High School Diploma required; Bachelor degree required or equivalent experience 3+ years job related experience.
+ Good customer service experience.
+ Previous experience as a technician, troubleshooting or mechanical aptitude preferred.
+ Familiar with data processing including graphing and interpretation preferred.
+ Understanding of compressed air systems and the application of supply side components preferred.
+ Ability to understand and produce/edit technical documents.
+ Good communication skills/phone skills required.
+ Computer skills, including proficiency in Google Workspace.
+ SAP experience preferred.

The Compliance Monitoring Specialist I is responsible for managing and maintain all aspects of compliance with the Flood regulation requirements and Adverse Action requirements under Regulation B and Mabrey Bank policies and procedures. The primary purpose of this position is to help maintain the physical security and safety of stores through remote monitoring and alert response and partnering with the Remote Monitoring Supervisor to conduct reverse investigations and address opportunities when identified. The principal purpose of this position is to serve as the first point of contact for all incoming alerts and will be responsible for responding appropriately, as well as escalating when necessary. This position will facilitate the information cascade to the Remote Monitoring Supervisor and Remote Monitoring Analyst on a daily/weekly basis to include technology deficiencies, trends identified, and other opportunities for resolution. This individual will be required to complete through and timely incident reports to store/field SSC teams through a case management platform, as well as communicate high-level incidents to appropriate persons when required. This role works closely with the Remote Monitoring Supervisor, Remote Monitoring Analyst and Physical Security Manager to identify and proactively address needs and opportunities, as well as provide immediate support in response to incidents in the field.
* Overnight hours (11 PM - 8 AM EST), including weekdays, with some weekends and holidays required based on business needs to ensure 24/7 security monitoring coverage. *

+ Review and respond to all incoming alerts in alignment with defined service level agreements
+ Complete visual verification for store alarms (Fire and Burglar) using CCTV when necessary
+ Conduct timely reverse investigations of alerts and escalate to Remote Monitoring Supervisor if necessary
+ Follow all rules and guidelines during remote interactions
+ Escalate incidents/situations to Remote Monitoring Supervisor when required

+ Maintain accurate documentation of sampling information and results in compliance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP).

Additional Skills & Qualifications

JOB FUNCTION:
Responsible for the real-time detection and monitoring of conditions by leveraging information from on-the-ground field teams, meteorology tools, live video and audio feeds, as well as databases, emergency alert systems, social media, the National Weather Service, local public safety authorities and other agencies and systems. Assesses and reports incidents, accidents, and significant events affecting company infrastructure and/or public and employee safety for situational awareness.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
+ Gathers real-time publicly available information and open-source research to monitor and investigate weather and environmental elements, and interprets data to provide situational awareness; Performs data analyses for an overall assessment of hazards, risks, and impacts and initiates or assists with the initiation of protective measures and mitigation strategies. Ensures notifications and updates are made to the appropriate parties including managers, directors, executives, and regulators and escalates response and mitigation actions, when needed. Ensures sufficient resources are assigned; assists with obtaining resources and coordinates logistics support; and follows through, monitors, and reports on ongoing incidents until they are resolved or completed. Responsible for Watch Office internal and external communications.
+ Collaborates with internal teams to validate hazards and risks. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Knowledge Requirements
+ BA/BS in business, fire science, engineering, environmental science, or related field. Four (4) years of relevant experience may be substituted for degree requirement.
+ Thorough knowledge of data and reporting analysis normally acquired through college level courses or equivalent experience, highly desirable.
+ Working knowledge of general electrical utility procedures and operations.
