The YouTube Music Partner Solutions team works with the Music Business Development team to license music rights on the platform through record labels, music publishers and collection societies agreements. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $123,000-$176,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. **Responsibilities**
+ Own the technical relationship with our top partners and work closely with the Business Development team to discuss new agreements and make sure these partners are successful on YouTube (thereby helping to unlock the rights to additional desired content for the YouTube community to enjoy).
+ Identify, drive, and optimize the flow from existing and new business opportunities by leveraging YouTube technologies through prototyping and innovation, developing systems, tools and solutions to scale up partner support.
+ Perform implementation reviews, communicate and seek adoption of new product features and internal tools, and ensure the prompt resolution of technical tests.
+ Improve product feature offerings by providing partner feedback to internal cross-functional teams including Product Management and Engineering.

The School of Music, Theatre, and Dance ( SMTD ) at Colorado State Universityempowers students to create, collaborate, innovate, and inspire. Through teaching, creative artistry, research, advocacy, and service,we elevate arts education. SMTD has 46 tenured and tenure-track faculty as well as 55 contract, continuing and adjunct faculty. There are currently over 550 students in SMTD , with 375 undergraduate and graduate students enrolled in residential and online music degree programs.
SMTD is housed in the University Center for the Arts, a nationally recognized state-of the art 350,000 square foot facility, that includes a 550-seat concert hall, a 275-seat organ and chamber music recital hall, a 320-seat thrust theatre, a 100-seat black box theatre, a 200-seat dance theatre, dedicated rehearsal, production and research spaces, along with classrooms, labs and practice rooms.

The School of Music, Theatre, and Dance may seek full time or part time, temporary Music Instructors to teach music industry courses in the music division, and in administrative roles coordinating special programs and developing curricula.

**Duration:** **5+** **months contract (Hybrid)**
**Job Description:**
+ This role sits within the music and digital media partnerships team, which is responsible for licensing, partner relationship management, and supporting business operations with record labels and streaming platforms.
+ The focus will be on managing existing partnerships, conducting data analysis, and coordinating with internal stakeholders, with potential exposure to external partner engagement as trust is established.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Support day-to-day management of existing music and media partnerships.
+ Handle inbound partner inquiries and escalate issues appropriately.
+ Conduct data analysis to generate insights and support partnership decisions.
+ Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams (legal, finance, operations, product, etc.).
+ Assist senior team members in preparing for partner negotiations and external meetings.
+ Ensure smooth partnership operations by managing workflows and tracking key deliverables.
+ Contribute to problem-solving and operational improvements within the partnerships team.
**Experience:**
+ 3-5 years minimum experience in partnership management, account management, or business development.
+ Direct experience in the music industry (record labels, DSPs, publishing) strongly preferred.
+ Experience in media, streaming, or entertainment industries may also be considered.
+ Proven background working with external partners and internal stakeholders.
+ Experience with escalation management and conflict resolution.
