Position: Market Research Manager Position Summary: Shape our go-to-market strategy by providing deep insights into market dynamics, buyer behavior, competitive intelligence, and industry trends. Responsible for conducting qualitative and quantitative research that informs product strategy, marketing campaigns, sales enablement, and executive decision-making. Market & Industry Analysis
- Analyze the primary care/healthcare technology markets to identify buyer needs, trends, growth opportunities, and risks.
- Track and analyze policy, regulatory, and other industry dynamics impacting primary care.
- Provide insights on total addressable market (TAM), segmentation, and buyer personas.
Competitive Intelligence
- Conduct competitive benchmarking across AI-powered SaaS platforms in healthcare.
- Monitor feature releases, pricing changes, partnerships, and positioning of key competitors.
- Generate insights that inform battlecards, SWOT analyses, and strategic briefs for internal stakeholders.
Customer & Buyer Research
- Develop and manage quantitative and qualitative surveys, interviews and focus groups.
- Translate research into actionable insights for product, sales, and marketing teams.
- Architect and manage voice-of-customer (VoC) initiative.
Data & Reporting
- Synthesize primary and secondary research into clear, actionable reports and dashboards.

Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner closely with product, marketing, sales and executive teams to ensure market-based insights guide go to market/business strategy.
- Partner closely with sales and marketing teams to develop market-facing assets that reflect research-based insights.

Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in marketing, business, health administration, economics, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in market research or competitive intelligence, ideally in healthcare, healthtech, or SaaS.
- Experience conducting and analyzing qualitative and quantitative research.
- Proficiency in tools such as Qualtrics, Tableau, Excel, and data visualization platforms.
- Excellent communication and storytelling skillsable to turn data into compelling narratives.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong understanding of primary care delivery models, payer-provider dynamics, and value-based care.
- Fundamental understanding of AI-driven healthcare platforms, SaaS products, and the healthcare technology landscape.

Position Summary:
Reporting to the Vice President of Strategic Marketing and Investor Relations, the ideal intern candidate will help create tools and/or AI agents, develop and evolve our processes, and add new capabilities to improve our market analytics and investor relations functions.
The Intern will also be responsible for gathering, organizing and analyzing market research and data, and participate in conducting in-depth analysis of Advanced Energy's industries, competitors, peers, products, and solutions. In addition, the role will support Advanced Energy's investor relations program through a wide range of preparation efforts and administrative duties. 30 hours per weeks is preferred, but reduced hours will be considered for those carrying a class load during school-year semesters.
Responsibilities:
- Develop dashboards and SharePoint site to disseminate market intelligence across the organization
- Investigate and develop specific AI tools and/or agents based on specific use-cases to enhance the effectiveness of the market research and investor relations functions
- Help organize available market research resources to enhance our competitive intelligence process
- Analyze market data to generate useful insights and make recommendations
- Help prepare emails, summary written documents or PowerPoint presentation for distributing market intelligence information
- Work closely with the VP of Strategic Marketing, Director of Investor Relations, and other executives on specific ad-hoc market research projects

As required by multiple state pay transparency laws, Advanced Energy provides a reasonable range of compensation for each job posting. Actual compensation is influenced by an array of factors including, but not limited to, skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. The range of starting pay for this role is $27.00 per hour to $32.00 per hour.
