National Grid is hiring a Digitial Product Manager- ADMS. This is a hybrid position located in Waltham, MA , Syracuse, or Brooklyn, NY.
Job Purpose
ADMS Product Manager is primarily responsible for leading the design, deployment, and maintenance the new Electric advanced management distribution system. ADMS system will be able to control our field devices such as line reclosers, capacitor banks and gather information from all SCADA enabled assets. This ability will enable our Advanced Distribution Management (ADMS) to estimate real-time situation awareness and automatically operate the distribution system.
The ability to automate operations in real-time is a stepping stone to centralized Grid Automation transition. The ADMS product will integrate with many other grid modernization platforms to manage the utilization of our distribution system. Solar generation, energy storage, electrification of transportation are some technologies that ADMS will centrally manage to maximize their dispatch utilization in real-time. DSCADA will increasingly become a mission critical system for the future of the electric grid.
Key Accountabilities
* Partner with business stakeholders to define and align business and product vision and strategy.
* Define and communicate an effective vision for digitalised work execution, its value and benefit, throughout the organisation and with our stakeholders to create a collaborative and informed end user experience.
* Lead, develop, and mentor a team of product owners with indirect responsibility for additional cross-functional team members
* Lead cross-functional teams in planning, prioritization, and product delivery
* Define and measure business impact, and monitor performance of initiatives and communicate performance metrics to key stakeholders
* Leverage data to understand risks, impacts, scope and priorities of our business objectives, and enable the team to drive results
Qualifications
* A degree directly related to or transferable to digital delivery and / or the energy system more broadly
* Comfortable in challenging the 'status quo' and driving change at an enterprise level
* Demonstrable capability to manage a critical programme / portfolio of digital products to transform business operations
* Experience successfully leading and improving teams that are highly effective both in terms of impact and team culture
* Ability to create a industry leading strategic vision for a critical portfolio and be able to turn that in to tangible and achievable deliverables with a track-record for exceeding expectations
* Ability to get to the root of the problem quickly, develop frontier solutions in collaboration with a broad range of stakeholders and communicate that effectively to all levels within the organisations and beyond
* Strong communication skills with an ability to successfully navigate a complex organization and generate and maintain buy-in for ideas and plans.
* Strong technical background, with demonstrated ability to partner effectively with engineering, designers, UX, and data science
* Having previous product development and implementation experience within a US energy utility would be hugely valuable

As an Executive Recruiter, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Conducting in-depth market research and intelligence gathering to identify potential candidates for senior-level executive roles.
- Developing and executing targeted sourcing strategies across various platforms, including professional networks, industry events, and direct outreach.
- Building and maintaining a strong pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future opportunities.
- Partnering closely with clients to understand their organizational needs, culture, and specific hiring requirements.
- Managing the entire recruitment lifecycle, from initial candidate contact through offer negotiation and onboarding support.
- Conducting comprehensive candidate assessments, including behavioral interviews and competency-based evaluations.
- Providing exceptional service and building long-term relationships with both clients and candidates.
- Staying current with industry trends, talent market dynamics, and best practices in executive search.
- Contributing to the firm's business development efforts by identifying new client opportunities.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date candidate and client information in the firm's CRM system.
Ideal candidates will possess:
- A Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in executive recruitment, preferably with a focus on the energy sector.
- Demonstrated success in identifying and recruiting executive-level talent (C-suite, VP, Director).
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Strong business acumen and a keen understanding of the energy industry landscape.
- Proficiency in utilizing various recruitment tools and technologies.
- A self-starter mentality with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote environment.
