Job Description
BAE Systems is seeking experienced Navigation Technician who is ready to join our dynamic team of engineers, technologists, and military veterans. This position will be located in Wallops Island, VA at the Surface Combat Systems Center (SCSC). The SCSC provides live and simulated integrated warfare capabilities in a net-centric, maritime environment to develop, test, evaluate and conduct fleet operations and training for the warfighter. The AEGIS Complex provides support to AEGIS and AEGIS Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD) Lifetime Support Engineering, Training, In-Service Engineering, Interoperability Testing, Engineering Initiatives, and Technical Research & Development required to maintain and upgrade the AEGIS and AEGIS BMD equipped fleet in war ready condition and fully capable of executing its mission.
The selected candidate will configure, initialize and maintain the various Navigation systems at SCSC to include WSN-7, NAVSSI, GPNTS, FODMS and GEDMS. The candidate will also work closely work with systems engineers to activate new advanced combat system casualties, support fleet readiness events and large multi-system multi-platform Operational test events
**Required Education, Experience, & Skills**
Minimum education and years of service required: High School/GED and more than three years of demonstrated experience assessing, troubleshooting, and performing corrective maintenance and preventive maintenance on systems and equipment. PQS 301 qualification is required. If selected candidate is not PQS 301 qualified on or before hire date, he/she must be willing and able to obtain PQS 301 qualification within 3 months of employment.

Successful candidate must be willing and able to perform in a variety of 40 hour work-week configurations, including:

This position requires the successful candidate to be able to obtain a Secret level clearance. The criteria for obtaining and holding a clearance are driven by US government requirements. **Pay Information**
This position is covered by a wage law called the McNamara-O'Hara Service Contract Act (SCA). The wage range for this position is determined by the Wage and Hour Division of the Department of Labor on a contract-by-contract basis.

Primary Level Salary Range: $89,400.00 - $34,200.00
Secondary Level Salary Range: 110,300.00 - 165,500.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:
