Job Requirements

• Associate Degree of Applied Science in NDT - The classroom training for the applicable test method and level of certification needed must meet the minimum required per NAS-410
• 4 years work experience in the NDT method(s) and manufacturing processes; certified Level 2 is .

POSITION SUMMARY

Non-destructive testing (NDT) technicians/specialists perform non-destructive tests on aircraft structures and components for flaws that could affect the aircraft or component with regard to airworthiness. The testing processes do not damage the structure or object being tested. Technicians look for corrosion, cracks and flaws which might lead to failure of the components.

JOB RESPONSIBLITIES

1. Ensure that all non-destructive testing is performed in accordance with manufacturer's specifications.
2. Ensure that all non-destructive testing equipment is in proper working order and in current calibration at all times.
3. Performs NDT inspection of aircraft, engines, propellers, accessories, components and materials processed through the repair station.
4. Ensures proper documentation of discrepancies on appropriate forms, work orders, tags or aircraft logs.
5. Ensures that shift turnover procedures are followed and properly documented.
6. Complies with repair station procedures and company policies.
7. Properly certificated in accordance with FAR 65, Subpart D or E, and will meet the applicable personnel qualification/certification requirements of the FAA approved EAMS NDT process specification EMBNDT002.

Job Title: Sr Technologist II, System Engineer

Purpose

The Sr. Technologist II, System Engineer Contract-to-Hire role will involve installation, configuration, and daily maintenance of Oceaneering's identity management systems, server operating systems, server virtualization platforms, and other tools associated with infrastructure operations. Purpose

The Technologist II, Client Services will be responsible for providing IT support to all local and remote employees of the Chesapeake division, as well as to other divisions with the organization as needed.

Functions

• Set up, image, configure and maintain company desktops, laptops and mobile devices including conference room equipment.
• Maintain access control of CUI/ITAR data.
• Help business operations utilize information systems to improve efficiency.
• Provide end-user support for all computer related applications.
• Configure, test and troubleshoot network connectivity for local and remote computers.
• Manage user account information and permissions.
• Prioritize and respond to IT support tickets within SLA requirements.
• Maintain accurate hardware inventory.
• Maintain, analyze, and repair hardware and software systems.
• Assist internal IT groups in support of the local IT infrastructure and VoIP services.
• Support and implement IT policies.
• Travel to support *** sites, both domestic and international.
• Plan and prioritize tasks to accomplish goals.
• Maintain a safe and clean IT working environment .
• Undertake specific projects as instructed by management.
• Assist with any other duties as and when required.

Qualifications

REQUIRED

• Minimum three (3) years' experience in maintaining computer hardware/software and working in a customer-oriented service environment,
• Have knowledge of: Computer imaging, Active Directory, Novell, Microsoft Office Suite, O365, Google Apps, videoconferencing equipment and applications, PeopleSoft, Enovia, AutoCAD, SolidWorks.
• Valid U.S. drivers ' license
• Must be a US citizen or have Legal Permanent Resident card (green card)
• Must be able to obtain Department of Defense security clearance.

DESIRED

• Bachelors' degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

• Perform MT, PT, UT, RT, and VT examinations. Interpret results and prepare reports documenting results.

• Drive processes to continuously improve the business, enable next-generation manufacturing, and ensure compliance with all governing specifications, codes, and standards.
• Administer the facilities NDT Program, responsible for NDT duties to include processes, procedures, techniques, training, qualification, and certification.
• Experience in implementing or executing NDT processes, have a working knowledge of each technology and its strengths and limitations to ensure the proper inspection technique is used for the task.
• Ability to troubleshoot, provide technical leadership, and correct NDE processes while maintaining product and process flow.
• Serve as the primary liaison with customers on items of inspection.
• Understand and interpret codes, standards, specifications, and customer requirements related to NDE inspection to meet manufacturing demands and compliance.
• Develop and implement general inspection procedures and NDE method procedures and techniques.
• Perform site audits.
• Maintain effective communication and contact with Manufacturing and Quality to assure the operation of existing products into production.
• Accountable in support of new and existing product line inspection requirements.
• Consciously drive waste out of the NDT processes to increase quality and reduce inspection time and cost.
• Collaborate with the groups to assure the correct levels of NDT services used on new and existing products are appropriate for their use in the field.
• Continuously evaluate NDT processes to ensure the most appropriate techniques are being utilized and any new NDT techniques to improve throughput and cast are brought to fruition in a timely manner.
• Interface with manufacturing to ensure all NDT aspects of customer requirements are understood.
• Monitor and provide comprehensive reporting on the status of all NDT projects on a regular basis to all necessary parties requiring the information.
• Carry out other duties as and when business requirements dictate as may be reasonably expected.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in support of manufacturing and quality as an ASNT NDT
• Must have a current level II UT certification - Non-Destructive Testing (NDT)
• Shearwave expereince highly preferred
• Computer literacy (including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook)
• Forecast issues in advance to prevent potential impacts; both internally and externally.
• Able to define, work within and improve business processes based on immediate and future business needs.
