Loma Linda Children’s Hospital is a Level 4 NICU with 84 beds located in Loma Linda that provides the following services: delivery (4000 per year) and transport services, Tiny Baby Unit, cardiac surgery, pediatric surgery, neurosurgery, ECMO, whole body cooling, neuro NICU, inhaled nitric oxide, multiple modes of ventilation and multiple pediatric sub-specialty consultant services. Clinical care is provided by neonatologists, nurse practitioners, neonatal fellows and pediatric residents.
Riverside University Health Systems is a Level 3 NICU with 32 beds located in Moreno Valley that provides the following services: delivery (2000 per year) and transport services, whole body cooling, inhaled nitric oxide, multiple modes of ventilation and multiple pediatric sub-specialty consultant services. Clinical care is provided by neonatologists, nurse practitioners, neonatal fellows and pediatric residents.
Queen of the Valley is a level 3 NICU with 40 beds located in West Covina that provides the following services: delivery service (3200 per year), whole body cooling, inhaled nitric oxide, multiple modes of ventilation and multiple pediatric sub-specialty consultant services. Clinical care is provided by neonatologists.
Desert Regional Medical Center is a level 3 NICU with 30 beds located in Palm Springs that provides the following services: delivery (3600 per year within the Desert Care Network) and transport services, inhaled nitric oxide, multiple modes of ventilation and multiple pediatric sub-specialty consultant services. Clinical care is provided by neonatologists and nurse practitioners.
Loma Linda Murrieta Hospital is a Level 2 NICU with 6 beds and newborn nursery located in Murrieta that provides the following services: delivery (1500 per year) and transport services, multiple pediatric sub-specialty consultant services and newborn nursery care. Clinical care is provided by neonatologists, nurse practitioners and family practice residents.
Other responsibilities include involvement and collaboration in quality improvement projects, education of training physicians, nurses and other ancillary staff and outreach to our surrounding community.
There is opportunity for involvement in research at our institution or collaboration with other institutions.
Compensation & Benefits
The compensation range listed is for starting base compensation only and is adjusted based upon years of experience and/or faculty rank: $301,000 - $351,000. This amount does not include variable compensation or extra productivity and is subject to the individual department compensation plans. A well established, 10-person, private group in West Michigan is seeking to add an additional member to our practice. We provide 24-hour in-house coverage for the 108 bed Level IV NICU of Helen DeVos Children's Hospital in Grand Rapids. We offer a full range of services including high frequency oscillating ventilation, high frequency jet ventilation, iNO, ECMO, and therapeutic hypothermia as well as a full surgical program including complex neonatal cardiac surgery. All subspecialties are well covered. Over the last several years, we have had an average daily census of approximately 100. We have an active transport service staffed by 15 highly motivated NNP’s performing 350 transports per year. Support staff includes unit-base pharmacists, dedicated respiratory therapists, nutritionists, occupational therapy, physical therapy, and clinical laboratory. Clinical research is an integral part of our practice. We are members of The Vermont Oxford Network, the NIC/Q Collaborative, and the BPD Collaborative. We are the Michigan site for the March of Dimes NICU Family Support Project. Resident and medical student education is an expected part of the position. Michigan State University College of Human Medicine is located directly across the street from our hospital. The Division of Neonatology is seeking a physician who is a recent Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine fellowship graduate or early-to-mid-level in his/her academic career with a history of excellent training and success in the clinical and academic realms. The new faculty member will deliver clinical care in the neonatal intensive care unit and develop a career in research and/or education. Successful candidates will display a commitment to pursuing a career that includes publishing and, where appropriate, obtaining extramural grant support for their research. Candidates with interests in clinical/translational investigation, neonatal follow-up, simulation, and/or growth and nutrition are especially desired. Neonatal-perinatal fellowship training is a requirement.
The University of Rochester is a major research university with a long history of clinical and laboratory investigations in neonatology. Rochester is located on the southern shore of Lake Ontario, just north of the breathtaking Finger Lakes region, and boasts affordable living, highly-ranked public schools, outstanding cultural amenities, and a vibrant metropolitan area. The Division of Neonatology consists of 26 neonatologists, several pediatricians, and 5 tenure-track PhD laboratory investigators. Major clinical and laboratory research areas include pulmonary biology, neonatal clinical trials, retinopathy of prematurity, childhood pulmonary outcomes of premature infants, neurodevelopment, growth and nutrition, neonatal hematology, neonatal immunology, simulation, machine learning, and quality improvement. Faculty hold a variety of federally-funded grants and contracts, including several multicenter grants. The division's clinical research group includes research coordinators, research nurses, and data management staff, and it supports 12 investigators with research programs in a wide variety of areas. Support for clinical and translational research is provided in part by the University's National Center for Advancing Translational Science (NCATS)-funded Clinical and Translational Sciences Institute (CTSI). The CTSI provides research support and master's and doctoral training in public health and clinical and translational investigation.
The Division provides neonatal care at the University's 68-bed Level IV NICU and at the Rochester General Hospital 14-bed Level II SCN. The University is the Regional Perinatal Center for the Finger Lakes Region of New York State, with a catchment area of 1.2 million.

Level III Neonatologist Opportunity near Oklahoma City
ResponsibilitiesWe have an exciting opportunity for a BC/BE neonatologist to join our practice in Norman, OK, located 20 miles south of Oklahoma City.
- Group consists of 6 neonatologists with call from home
- Coverage at Norman Regional Hospital, a 26-bed Level-III NICU with an ADC of 14, and Mercy Hospital Oklahoma City, a 43-bed Level-III NICU with an ADC of 29
- Services include HFOV and jet ventilators
- NNP coverage at both hospitals
- Sub-specialty support includes pediatric surgery and cardiothoracic surgery at Mercy, and MFM and OB-ED support at Norman
- Required participation in QI and process improvement, and involvement in staff development and best practice education as well as community outreach and service line enhancement/growth/development/strategic planning
- Patient and family centered provider with excellent communication and collaboration skills
