**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:**
+ MD or PhD in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Microbiology and Immunology, or a related field.
+ Experience with bioinformatical analysis of sequencing data (including single-cell and bulk genomic and epigenomic data).
+ Willingness to learn new laboratory techniques and innovative scientific strategies is essential, as is working with human specimens, such as blood, saliva, urine, feces, etc. Skill in utilizing anaerobic chambers (Coy, Bactron, Anoxomat), PCR protocols (rt-qPCR) and enzymatic assays preferred.

+ This position will be centralized around our Webster patient population. This position will be deployed to a clinic in Webster region and would round on dialysis patients in facilities on the mainland.
+ This APP will round on dialysis patients in a dialysis facility every other week.
+ This Advanced Practice Provider will be responsible for nine half-day clinic sessions per week on non-dialysis weeks and four to six half-day clinic sessions per week on dialysis rounding weeks.
+ A typical clinic schedule will be focused on follow-up patients who have been previously seen by a faculty member. Once fully ramped up, the expectation is to see 8 patients per half-day session.
+ **Skills & Experience:**
+ Education: Master's or Doctorate in Nursing from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program or Master of Physician Assistant Studies (MPAS)

+ Selects, performs, and monitors staining procedures required for specific diagnosis, e.g., evaluation of adequacy of reagents and stains selection and utilization of control materials, monitoring of stained preparations, etc.

The Division of **NEPHROLOGY AND HYPERTENSION AT STONY BROOK MEDICINE** is recruiting for a full-time clinical faculty member with a focus on outpatient clinical nephrology.

**Required Qualifications:**
MD (or foreign equivalent). Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Board Certified/Eligible in Nephrology. Candidate should have a strong clinical background to assume inpatient and outpatient patient care and teach residents, fellows, and medical students.
**Preferred qualifications:**
Experience teaching students, residents and/or fellows. Experience in management of peritoneal dialysis, CRRT, and nephrology consultations in the critical care setting. Experience in QI/QA and/or clinical research.
