Job Description
GES is seeking an Int. Network Admin to support large-scale migration and operations on a large, high-profile DOD contract. The I3TS program provides enterprise-wide IT support to enable DTRA's Information Management & Technology Directorate (ITD) to consolidate, modernize, and continuously innovate the delivery of IT services and mission capabilities to DTRA's internal and external mission partners operating in CONUS and OCONUS locations.
The Int. Network Admin will be support planning, designing, and evaluating various components of the network. Duties will include providing specifications for network architecture, evaluating and recommending new technologies to enhance current capabilities, and performing needs assessments. Support level duties will include monitoring, installation, modification, testing and servicing of network equipment.
Primary focus will be on, handling internal projects for operations, supporting driving time-sensitive initiatives, supports ITIL service area activities (problem management, incident management, service request fulfillment, etc.) and specific tasks to a successful conclusion, operations management, configuration/change management t, service level agreements (SLA).
The individual will adhere to and improve standard operating procedures (SOP's) in a matrixed organization supporting the prime contractor and CMS. Along with a demonstrated ability to manage a team composed of Network & Firewall Administrators.
Required Experience
- Experience with Cisco technologies with recent experience in Cisco ACI
- Experience with F5 Load balancers
- Experience with physical connection/access to data center hardware via console serial for router/switches & using a crash cart to connect to servers
- Experience with rack/stack gear, running copper/fiber cables
- Experience with using ticketing/change management systems like ServiceNow
- Experience in following strict change control and guiding others in following the change control process
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior network administrators.
- BS degree and 4 - 8 years of prior relevant experience or Masters degree with 2 - 4 years of prior relevant experience.
- Oral and written communication for change procedures, and management updates
- Technology: Prior experience with OSI Layers, Security, Storage, VMWare, System/Network Admin
- Tools: Share Point, Skype, Slack, Service Now, Wiki's, MS Project

This is a unique role which offers opportunities for growth in different areas (networking, system administration, etc) for motivated individuals. Work Schedule is as follows:
Monday thru Friday 0600 to 1430
Primary Responsibilities
1) Performs the integration of new COTS/GOTS systems (network equipment, servers, workstations, etc) into the production environment, responsible for ensuring mission readiness.
2) Manages change controls for documentation within a configuration management database (CMDB) and performs corrective action on any discrepancies or findings.

4) Reviews data from a DoD Network Monitoring System. Reviews historical data and proactively audits systems to ensure they meet program requirements. Assesses risks and remediates incidents.
5) Once trained on the program specific equipment, the candidate will be relied on as an expert in their AOR, and will be expected to analyze issues, make remediation recommendations to management, and subsequently carry out those remediation processes.

Final Secret clearance with ability to obtain Top Secret. Interim Top Secret is required for a start date.
Experience with one or more of the following Windows Server administration tools: AD CS, AD DNS, DHCP, etc.

Network diagram creation experience using Visio or other visualization tools.

The Leidos Security and Engineering Programs (SEP) is seeking a Network Administrator for the Center for Information Systems Security (CISS) program. This is a unique role which offers opportunities for growth in different areas (networking, system administration, etc) for motivated individuals. This position requires the ability to work flexible hours in Washington DC.
Work Schedule is as follows:
Monday thru Friday 0600 to 1430
Primary Responsibilities
1) Performs the integration of new COTS/GOTS systems (network equipment, servers, workstations, etc) into the production environment, responsible for ensuring mission readiness.
2) Manages change controls for documentation within a configuration management database (CMDB) and performs corrective action on any discrepancies or findings.
3) Develops technical solutions and resolves complex user, computer, server, network, appliance, and application issues. Independently and consistently records, manages, and updates these solutions in a knowledge database and ticketing system.
4) Reviews data from a DoD Network Monitoring System. Reviews historical data and proactively audits systems to ensure they meet program requirements. Assesses risks and remediates incidents.
5) Once trained on the program specific equipment, the candidate will be relied on as an expert in their AOR, and will be expected to analyze issues, make remediation recommendations to management, and subsequently carry out those remediation processes.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree with 2+ years' experience. Or Master's with 1 years' experience. A High School diploma with an additional 4 years' relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Final Secret clearance with ability to obtain Top Secret. Interim Top Secret is required for a start date.
Experience with one or more of the following Windows Server administration tools: AD CS, AD DNS, DHCP, etc.
Cisco, Junos, and Palo Alto configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Network diagram creation experience using Visio or other visualization tools.
Working knowledge of general networking concepts, such as multicast, OSPF, BGP, VLAN, NAT, etc.
Tier 3 network support.
