  • Troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues, performing root cause analysis and implementing permanent solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into network solutions.
  • Plan and execute network upgrades, migrations, and hardware/software deployments.
  • Develop and maintain network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and operational procedures.
  • Evaluate and recommend new network technologies and solutions to improve efficiency and capabilities.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior network engineers.
  • Participate in on-call rotation for emergency network support.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor network performance metrics and identify areas for optimization.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in network engineering and administration.
  • In-depth knowledge of routing protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF), switching technologies, and network security principles.
  • Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios, PRTG).
  • Proficiency with firewall management (e.g., Cisco ASA, Palo Alto Networks) and VPN technologies.
  • Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and other network services.
  • Relevant industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent.
  • Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a significant advantage.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and diagnostic skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team in a hybrid environment.
