Key Responsibilities:
- Support all aspects of data center construction and network deployment, including new greenfield sites, collocation build outs, and retrofits.

- Lead strategic initiatives aimed at driving efficiencies, innovation, and standardization in our data centers through automation and coding.
- Perform site visits and collaborate with construction teams, architects, and contractors to ensure compliance with Meta standards for cabling infrastructure and network builds.
- Influence future iterations of data center designs to facilitate the integration of new infrastructure and scalability.
- Maintain comprehensive technical references, processes, and training documentation.
- Develop automation and tools to enhance consistency and efficiency across all aspects of network design, deployment, and operations.
- This role may require travel of 25% to 40% based on project demands.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 7+ years of experience in designing and deploying large-scale data center network infrastructure.
- Proficiency in structured cabling and fiber optic infrastructure, including best practices, industry standards, and applications.
- Deep understanding of data center design, construction, and commissioning processes.
- Proven experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing large-scale data center projects.
- Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems and execute strategic plans.
- Strong knowledge of internet networking technologies (TCP/IP, routing, switching) and optical transport technologies.
- Familiarity with enterprise and provider-level network hardware platforms (IP + Optical).
- Excellent organizational, multitasking, prioritization, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in leading and managing technical teams.
- History of collaboration with on-site construction teams and managing contractor relationships.
- Knowledge of data center facilities management using BMS and automation systems.
- Familiarity with data center infrastructure management (DCIM) and physical security systems.
- Expertise in inside/outside plant cable design and dark fiber installations.
- Experience working within a global team in a matrixed environment with minimal supervision.
