The U.S. Air Force Central Command's Network Operations and Security Center (AFCENT NOSC) executes the full-spectrum of information technology (IT) services management and operations for AFCENT networks 24 hour-a-day, 7 day-a-week (24/7), and is tasked by USCENTCOM to provide information assurance (IA) boundary intrusion detection and intrusion prevention for USCENTCOM components. Comprised of NOSC operations, operations support, cybersecurity, network engineering, and command support functions, the AFCENT NOSC plans, engineers, installs, integrates, operates and maintains, protects and manages enterprise-wide network and systems architecture, infrastructure and services; and provides enterprise-level oversight to its subordinate and supported communications support activities. In support of steady state, contingency and emergency operations, the AFCENT NOSC also deploys personnel to locations in the USCENTCOM Area of Responsibility (AOR) to install, integrate, upgrade/update, patch and sustain its supported enterprise networks, systems and services. AFCENT/A6 has contracted NOSC IT support services in order to more effectively and efficiently execute its mission in within a constantly changing technological, geopolitical and military environment.
Responsibilities
V2X is seeking a candidate to provide Network Architecture Design Manager to support the AFCENT NOSC IT contract. This position is contingent upon successful contract award to V2X.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
+ Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen with an active DoD Top Secret (with SCI eligibility) Security Clearance.
+ BS degree in a related field.

Manager, Network Architecture and Engineering is a global technology resource, solutions architect, and individual contributor role that reports to the Director, Global Network Services this role you will be responsible for developing optimal solution architectures, designing, implementing and transitioning services supporting the SC Johnson global network environment, ensuring maximum uptime and security for the overall business. Position Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations of the Network Architecture and Design teams, ensuring that the network architectural standards and structures are strictly followed & implemented by every step of the design processes
• Develop, document, implement and maintain the network architectural standards that enable design and automation practices to function with a high degree of quality and efficiency
• Deliver highly reliable, repeatable patterns for local area networks (LAN), wireless (WLAN), wide area networks (WAN), cloud and the security measures required to protect from all manner of cyber threats
• Analyze network performance, planning for future capacity needs, and making recommendations for upgrades and improvements to ensure optimal performance and scalability for the enterprise network

• Work collaboratively across all sectors of the IT organization and business organizations to achieve "silent" operations and superlative productivity for the company

• Keep abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in networking and security, evaluating and integrating new technologies as appropriate

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• 5+ years of experience with Cisco and Arista networking, load balancing, firewalls, and/or related technologies for network solutions
• 5+ years of experience with network design, architecture, protocols, security, and/or operations for effective network management and implementation
• 3+ years of experience in managing and/or leading network and/or security design and architecture

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Bachelor's degree or higher
