You will serve as a Engineering Technician (Naval Architecture) in the Engineering and Planning Department (Code 400) of TRIDENT REFIT FACILITY, BANGOR
This announcement is for an Upward Mobility Program position.

- You will research information, analyze and evaluate deficiencies, and assist with determining the approach to resolve deficiencies including immediate and long-term corrective actions.

The ideal candidate will perform advanced-level duties assisting skilled trades workers in maintenance and renovation tasks, such as electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and other building trades work. In addition to supporting the department's Skilled Trades Worker will also:
- Will perform semi-skilled tasks (in various trades).
- Clean work areas, sweep, collect trash, assist in demolition activities, and move supplies and equipment.
- Performs minor operation, maintenance, installation, and repair of HVAC, heating equipment, and plumbing.
- Performs preventive maintenance on equipment and systems assigned to HVAC and Heating.
- Transports raw materials and semi-finished products or supplies between departments or buildings.
- Performs minor welding repairs; operates power tools.
- Performs light carpentry work, such as building bookshelves, bookcases, etc.
