**DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:**
1. Manages multiple departments and daily workflow to ensure optimum service levels are maintained.
2. Oversees service levels to ensure delivery trucks depart on time and as scheduled.
3. Works with Facilities Management to make sure maintenance issues are addressed in an efficient manner.
4. Interacts with Goods In and Goods Out managers to ensure department objectives are met.
5. Conducts meetings with supervisory team to foster communication and discuss improvement opportunities.
6. Attends cross-functional meetings to ensure consistent communication and address any associate concerns.
7. Analyzes Goods-Out and Goods-In procedures and processes and identifies improvement opportunities.
8. Monitors and ensures that CFC security procedures are being adhered to.
9. Shares ?best practices? with other CFCs.
10. Promotes safe work practices.
11. Ensures completion of all necessary paperwork.
12. Ensures timely completion of bi-weekly payroll information.
13. Operates basic and advanced warehouse vehicles? Identifies any equipment training needs & ensures equipment safety compliance.
14. Works in conjunction with Facilities Management to gain understanding and improve diagnostic knowledge of conveyor controls throughout the CFC.
15. Ensures consistent evaluation of spend-a-day candidates and monitors their progress.
16. Assists with the budget process.
17. Ensures Overtime and Operational costs remain within budget.
18. Performs all duties inherent in the role of MSC manager as defined in the MSC code of conduct including hiring, termination, review and development of associates.
19. Implements and fosters the Safety Culture alongside the Global Safety department through direct input, participation and resource management.
20. Develops local leadership team goals regarding safety metrics and support the achievement of those goals.
21. Fosters the MSC Culture in the department and throughout the company to ensure unity of purpose and fulfillment of MSC?s mission.
In order to meet customer service requirements, associates can be temporarily re-assigned to other warehouse functions.
Participates in special projects and performs additional duties as required.

The Night Operations Assistant (NOA) provides overnight front desk staffing and safety support in residence halls. Reporting to the building's Resident Director and supervised through the Assistant Director for Risk Management and Front Desk Operations (within the Office of Residence Life), the NOA serves as a key part of the residential support system during overnight hours. This position will work approximately 9.5 months per year, when residence halls are open. Responsibilities include verifying access to the building, monitoring camera feeds, enforcing guest and visitation policies, documenting incidents and concerns, and escalating urgent issues to RAs on-call, Senior Staff On-Call (SSOC), or Central Office On-Call (COOC) as needed. The NOA helps uphold the University Housing Community Standards (UHCS) and responds to incidents in accordance with ORL training and policies. The position also emphasizes a developmental approachproviding support, referring residents to resources, and communicating concerns to the CAA and RD to support continuity of care and student success. The NOA is expected to model professional conduct, discretion, and ethical decision-making at all times. This includes maintaining confidentiality, handling sensitive information responsibly, and engaging with students in a respectful, developmentally appropriate manner. To be successful, the Night Operations Department Supervisor must collaborate and communicate with other Department Supervisors and Assistant Store Managers to determine the most effective methods for meeting service, operations, and safety objectives. The individual in this role must continuously drive efficiencies and be able to teach others the skills needed to maintain effective store operations. It is important that this associate communicate upward to keep management informed of concerns, issues, recognitions, and morale.
The Night Operations Department Supervisor helps keep our store safe by conducting safety walks, reporting hazards, training and monitoring staff, and understanding all safety and lifting requirements.
In addition to the responsibilities summarized above, individuals in this role may occasionally open or close the store or serve as manager-on-duty (MOD).
Travel Requirements: This role does not require regular travel; however, this role may need to travel on occasion to meetings, trainings, or to support neighboring stores.
**What We're Looking For**
- Hourly Full Time: Generally scheduled 39 to 40 hours; more hours may be required based on the needs of the store.
- Requires working overnight shift.
- Physical ability to perform tasks that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to perform job duties.
- Minimally must be able to lift 25 pounds without assistance; may lift over 25 pounds with or without assistance.
**What You Need To Succeed**
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent and 3 years of experience in a retail environment OR 5 years of experience in a retail environment.
- Experience providing direction or supervision to teams (with or without direct report responsibility).
- Experience supporting or participating in the process of training, mentoring and developing associates.
- Experience working cross-functionally.
- Experience Using Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to obtain sales related licensure or registration as may be required by law.
