Come join our rapidly growing team! We are in need of a Commercial Sales Representative to help service our commercial customers around the Sarasota area.

As a Commercial Sales Representative at Bone Dry, you will play a pivotal role in our sales team. You will combine your analytical skills with your sales expertise to estimate project costs, prepare compelling proposals, and close deals with our valued clients. Your primary responsibility will be to represent Bone Dry with the utmost professionalism and care while driving revenue growth by identifying opportunities, negotiating contracts, and delivering tailored solutions.

Duties and Responsibilities

    • The successful candidate will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, and we are looking for someone willing to learn and grow.
    • Managing a sales pipeline and making appropriate follow-ups on pending opportunities.
    • Understanding the needs of customers and proposing appropriate solutions based on the company's product portfolio.
    • Providing timely responses to new estimate requests from customers.
    • This position requires a strong degree of ownership and self-motivation, while also being team oriented.
Qualifications
    • High School Diploma or equivalent
    • Valid driver's license
    • Pass a background check
    • Military service is a plus
    • The ideal candidate will have customer-facing experience
    • The candidate should have a working knowledge of Google Suites along with the ability to learn new platforms
    • Candidate needs to be able to communicate with business owners and property managers on a professional level

    • Familiarity with low slope roofing systems a plus
    • Previous experience with Java or workforce a plus

As a Commercial Roofing Sales Estimator at Bone Dry, you will play a pivotal role in our Commercial Roofing Division in Sarasota. Responsibilities and Duties

    • Estimate jobs, perform take-offs, write proposals, communicate with business owners or property managers
    • Write picking list, order materials, arrange for permits
    • Interpret job specifications and contract drawings and estimate materials needed
    • Generate and maintain relationships with property managers, general contractors and other local avenues of business
Qualifications
    • The ideal candidate will have experience in all Low Slope and Steep Slope Roofing Systems
    • The candidate should be able to read drawings and spec books in order to perform take-offs, write estimates and proposals
    • The candidate should have a working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
    • Candidate needs to be able to communicate with business owners and property managers on a professional level
Requirements
    • Valid driver's license
    • Pass background check
    • High School diploma or equivalent
    • Construction/roofing industry experience preferred
    • Preferably 2+ years experience in commercial roofing (repairs, production, or sales)
    • Military service a plus

  • Must Possess a High School Diploma/GED
  • 5 + years practical working experience in the HVAC Industry
  • Ability to p ush/pull/lift"up "to 50lbs, climb a ladder and work on rooftops
  • Ability to stand, crawl, sit, squat of extended period of times , use ladders and work on rooftops
  • Must Possess and maintain valid and current Drivers License and be insurable by the companys insurance carrier
  • Ability to join the union , or be a part of the union currently
Preferred Qualifications :

Other experience and qualities you may have that would be beneficial in this role include:
  • Basic understanding of building automation controls
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

Your knowledge of Commercial HVAC will be critical in working on a variety of installations, repairs, and maintenance projects. Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnosing mechanical and electrical malfunctions and making recommendations
  • Performing regularly scheduled maintenance on heating and cooling units
  • Installing, replacing, or repairing equipment; including the need to calibrate thermostatic controls; worn heating, ventilation and air-conditioning parts and equipment; repair or replace low- and high-pressure liquid lines etc.
  • Assembling and installing metal ductwork
  • Assisting in planning and designing of new installations of heating and air-conditioning systems
  • Providing estimates of materials required
  • Repairing and replacing damaged parts and equipment
  • Reading blueprints, floor plans and wiring diagrams
  • Reading and interpreting City, State, and EPA regulations
  • Establishing and maintain effective relationships with customers and their representatives
  • Safely operating company vehicles, machinery, and equipment
  • Recognizing risks and safety hazards commonly found in HVAC operations, and implementing appropriate controls to ensure safe work; collaborate with management personnel to maintain safe working environments
