Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Operations Analyst (Level 5) to join the 777-9 Build Integration Team in Everett, WA.

This role will focus on integrating with the 777-9 Manufacturing Business Units to ensure the successful completion of projects, identify and eliminate waste, and communicate engineering changes that may affect the airplane build. The ideal candidate will act as a consultant to the teams they support, driving continuous improvement and operational excellence.

The role demands a high level of self-motivation, with the ability to work independently and proactively to drive results.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Leads complex group work sessions selecting and using advanced Lean principles, processes and tools to implement the Boeing Production System for internal or external customers

  • Conducts assessments of processes and practices for comparison to applicable standards and criteria

  • Analyzes and interprets data

  • Provides feedback on assessment results and identifies opportunities for improvement and potential areas of risk

  • Works with organizations to develop strategies, plans and metrics to achieve business objectives

  • Works at the appropriate level in the organization to implement strategies and plans

  • Works under minimal direction

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years’ experience in a manufacturing or manufacturing support environment

  • 5+ years of experience using LEAN Manufacturing and/or Continuous Improvement practices and tools in the workplace

  • 5+ years of experience engaging in senior level communication including presentation development and report outs

  • 5+ years of experience with project management

  • 5+ years of experience working with cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher

  • 10+ years of related work experience

**MANUFACTURING OPERATIONS:** Provides support to the Business Leader by leading the operational and improvement activities of an assigned production area within the value stream.
+ Direct Reports include Team Leaders & Hourly Production team members
+ Responsible for operational performance and improvement of key metrics including safety, quality, delivery, cost and morale. Align area metrics with overall department/value stream goals; organize resources to deliver on these metrics
+ Oversee the daily start-up of production area. Ensure line is properly staffed and manage staffing throughout the day; monitor expected and unexpected absenteeism. Review daily plan with Team Leaders
+ Ensure production line boards are completed in a timely manner. Utilize production line boards to collect information on area performance, issue identification and problem resolution. Ensure information is passed on to the following shift and management
+ Maintain a good technical knowledge of operations; follow the escalation process to address and respond to abnormalities and recommend corrective action as required
+ Act as a first responder to Team Leaders and production team members within the production area. Facilitate delegation of issues to appropriate level in escalation process
+ Ensure the Lean manufacturing practices and Escalation Process set forth under the Appliance Production System are followed and adhered to within the value stream manufacturing operations
+ Attend daily production meetings and cascade necessary information to Team Leaders. Lead and maintain rigor around daily Team Leader meetings, escalation meetings, etc. Communicate key issues to leadership team at the daily production meeting
+ Oversee the deployment of standardized work within the value stream operation. Ensure process stability through following standardized work. Coach and develop Team Leaders and team members to ensure standardized work is in place and is followed

+ Partner with Plant Quality and Engineering staff to drive improvements in First Pass Yield and Service Call Rate (SCR) metrics
**SAFETY:** Responsible for the safety performance and metrics for the production area.
+ Promote safety culture and ensure team's compliance with safety rules and procedures, such as: PPE compliance, accident investigation within 24 hours, Safety Contacts and safe start participation
+ Lead and own accident investigation process to identify root cause and drive required corrective action(s). Log and close accident investigations in a timely manner

**What You'll Bring to Our Team**
**Requirements:**
+ 5+ years' experience of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment, supplier management and project implementation.
+ Leadership experience and/or technical acumen within supply chain (i.e.: manufacturing, warehousing, distribution, materials, quality, procurement, fulfillment or related functional area).

+ BS/BA degree preferred, ideally in engineering, supply chain management or business.

**Responsibilities**
+ Understands and is responsible for full compliance and following of all Quality, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's), American Institue of Baking (AIB), Micro Cleaning & Sanitization (C&S), Environmental Health and Safety (EHS), and safety standards and guidelines.
+ Assist with startup, changeovers, and line shut down of automated and manual equipment throughout the production facility.
+ Performs housekeeping activities as per master sanitation schedule, and conducts/participates in area housekeeping assessments as required to meet all GMP's, Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and AIB requirements.
+ Responsible to support line operations during lunches, breaks and coverage for open positions.
+ Responsible for finished goods preparation and inspection, including top cap placement, inspection checklist, legible date codes, and quality of bag seals.
+ Production line waste removal and disposal according to standard operating procedures (SOP).
+ Responsible for cleaning and sanitization of equipment throughout the production areas during operation. Trained in lock out tag out (LOTO), chemical handling, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), etc.
+ Understand and comply with Hill's policies, safety standards, GMP's and food safety. Identify and report food safety issues to management.
+ Responsible for managing dump back/regrind/reblend product movement.
+ Supports packaging lines with staging of resources needed based on the production schedule, including hand stacking of all bag sizes.
+ Attends the Shift Transition Meeting to understand the current shift production schedule.
