**Job Summary**
We are seeking a highly knowledgeable and experienced **Nuclear Energy Technology Leader** to provide strategic direction, technical expertise, and thought leadership in support of nuclear energy initiatives. The Nuclear Energy Technology Leader will play a critical role in advising on nuclear technologies, regulatory compliance, safety protocols, and innovation strategies across a range of nuclear energy projects. This position requires strong technical depth in nuclear energy technology development, a proven record of technical leadership, and thorough understanding regulatory, environmental, and nuclear safety considerations.
This position offers the flexibility of **remote work** . Candidates based near a Battelle office will follow a hybrid schedule, with preference for those in the Columbus, OH headquarters area.
**Responsibilities**
+ Serve as the primary technical authority on nuclear energy systems, including reactors, fuel cycles, waste management, and safety systems.
+ Provide expert analysis and recommendations on nuclear policy, regulatory frameworks, and industry standards.

The **Nuclear Deployment Business Leader** will lead multidisciplinary teams delivering advanced nuclear energy deployment services to commercial clients, the Department of Energy (DOE), and the Department of Defense (DOD). Operations Consultant Candidates shall work to support requirements for FY22-012: Consultant Support Services Swim Lanes and statement of work (SOW) while maintaining required qualifications with relevant Government, Public Sector, and Infrastructure Sector experience. ProSidian Team Members work as part of the Engagement Team Cadre to provide integrated consulting and operational business support (Consultant Support) for the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Hanford Chief of Staff (HCS) at the DOE Hanford Site full-time (1920 hours) as part of The ProSidian General Support Services Contract (GSSC).

  • Leverage specific knowledge and experience of The Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Environmental Management (EM) cleanup mission strategy to provide timely expertise utilizing acquired knowledge of the Hanford site operations to coordinate high-level integration decisions between the providing Department of Energy Richland Operations Office (DOE-RL) and The Department of Energy Office of River Protection (DOE-ORP).

Qualifications

The Operations Consultant (Nuclear | Energy | Environmental | Strategic | Process | Management) - GSSC shall have consecutive employment in a position with comparable responsibilities within the past five (5) years, Must be able to use a computer to communicate via email; and proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word/Excel/PowerPoint) and related tools and technology required for the position.

The Operations Consultant personnel shall possess the following minimum qualifications:

  • 3 years of relevant experiences, such as daily interactions with the senior management and other senior staff. (Hanford experience preferred)
  • Specific knowledge and experience of The Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Environmental Management (EM) cleanup mission strategy. (DOE-EM Hanford experience preferred)
  • Specialized and specific experience relating to the DOE mission and senior management culture. (Hanford experience preferred)
  • Proven technical support skills, on-site experience, proven data analysis skills, and knowledge to satisfy the stated Hanford Site Chief of Staff (HCS) needs.
  • Proven ability to provide support services to the chief of staff and senior management, including the ability to protect sensitive information and to support time-sensitive, critical responses.

DELIVERABLES

  • Weekly Status Report. This report will address work accomplished, with deliverable progress provided to the technical monitor.
  • Monthly Status Report. This report will be a combination of the weekly status reports and shall be submitted with the monthly invoice. The report shall also include:
  • Deliverable progress and date(s) submitted, submitted within the invoice period.
  • The work schedule for Contractor employees, to include any leave taken.

TRAVEL: Occasional travel may be required to attend meetings, events, site visits, or other training requirements. Travel is coordinated with the technical point of contact and approved in writing by the Contracting Officer in advance, is allowed, in accordance with Federal Travel Regulations.

**Job Description Summary**
The Global Compliance Leader for Nuclear Power will run all aspects of our compliance program across the global business unit. This includes prevention, detection, mitigation and corrective action. The role will report to the Chief Compliance Officer for the Power Segment. The role will engage business leaders and managers at all levels of the organization to influence culture, increase employee engagement, and engage in strategic risk management.
**Job Description**
**What you'll do**
+ Responsible for understanding the business, organization, relevant industry regulations, and internal policies and procedures, in order to serve as a strategic business partner and advisor of compliance risks and mitigations.
+ Design and implement the compliance strategy for s global Nuclear Power business.
+ Work directly with the Executive Leadership Teams and stakeholders (e.g. CEO, CFO, GC, Commercial Leader, etc.) for the Power Segment and Nuclear Power business to drive leadership engagement, including but not limited to hosting Compliance Review Boards, facilitating Compliance communications, and supporting business strategic initiatives
+ Drive the Compliance Culture across the global Nuclear Power business - ensuring compliance is viewed as a foundational pillar, employees are aware of the program, policies and procedures
+ Support the execution of global commercial compliance including supporting the business in new market strategies, commercial offerings, risk mitigation and third party due diligence assessments.
+ Ensure global compliance controls are effectively operational, aiding the central program team in implementing new requirements or addressing monitoring gaps as necessary.
+ Support the global Open Reporting program by assisting in investigations (e.g., approvals) and collaborating with the open reporting team on trend analysis and risk identification, ensuring high standards of program excellence and responsiveness to employee concerns in line with NRC regulatory requirements.
+ Provide support and expertise in critical matters such as government investigations, high-priority legal investigations, monitoring and internal audits.
+ Conduct strategic, global compliance risk assessments for the Nuclear Power business; develop and implement mitigation plans across the global business.
+ Conduct project and Fixed Facility Site visits on an as-needed basis to support the implementation of compliance culture, processes, and controls at the sites of the global Nuclear Power business.
+ Continually review and evaluate laws and regulations and their impact on the global Nuclear Power business' strategy and commercial operations. This would be inclusive of compliance related trends, risks and gaps. Identify and construct a strategic response and lead improvements where required.
+ Provide Nuclear Power business-level support on the implementation and execution of the Compliance Enterprise Standards, training, communications, monitoring outcomes or data analytics requests.
+ Assist the broader Power Segment Compliance teams on business-wide objectives, compliance-related duties, special projects, and initiatives to support the overall compliance program, as self-identified or directed.
+ Assist with compliance-related duties across the other Power Segment businesses in the GE Vernova portfolio, as directed.
**What you'll bring (Basic Qualifications)**
+ Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college
+ Minimum of 8 years of experience with progressive responsibility in compliance.

For U.S. based candidates only, for purposes of complying with U.S. pay transparency requirements, the base pay range for this position is $150,100.00 - 225,000.00 USD per year. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, geographic location, and skill set.
This position is also eligible for a 15% annual performance bonus. This position will stay open on the career website until at least 9/28/2025.
*The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%,120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
