Job Overview
The RN Nurse Director position is the recognized leader in understanding and interpreting standards for ambulatory clinical practice, as well as applying, evaluating, and improving those standards to ensure ambulatory clinical practices meet all regulatory requirements and organizational policies and procedures. The Director provides regional leadership for nursing and clinical support functions for multiple clinics while working collaboratively with the Administrative and Medical Leadership Teams. The Director supports quality, patient satisfaction, patient safety, cost effectiveness, and mission of AltaMed. The is accountable for designing, implementing, evaluating, and improving systems, methods, and strategies to maintain and improve the compliance of ambulatory care service delivery, clinical quality, clinical processes/systems, performance, safety, practice standards, patient/family satisfaction and the effectiveness of patient care with regulatory and organizational requirements.
Minimum Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Nursing required.
* Master's degree in nursing, Health Care Management or business administration preferred.
* Registered Nurse with a current California State Board of Nursing License.
* Minimum of 5 years of Registered Nursing experience required.
* Minimum of 3 years of progressive nursing leadership experience required.
* Ambulatory care nursing experience preferred.
* Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
* A minimum requirement of a valid BLS certification or higher, following the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross guidelines.
Compensation
$135,879.58 - $169,849.47 annually
