Job Description: The Manager, Nursing Administration will oversee all services within departmental oversight, including the operations, personnel, finances, and quality of care provided. The manager serves as a clinical role model and is actively involved in the creation, implementation and evaluation of initiatives to continually improve the patient and team member experience. This position, has oversight and responsibilities of forecasting, creating, implementing, and evaluating functional strategies for the following within OMC's House Supervision departments: staffing, training, performance management, compliance, fiscal management, implementing and evaluating quality improvement plans, processes, standards, and performance goals to ensure optimal service delivery, employee satisfaction, and patient experience. Collaborates with physicians, managers, supervisors, and other members of the healthcare team to effectively coordinate services. Plans and develops personal and professional goals and objectives and implements activities to achieve them.
Education:
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing required.
- BSN or related degree within 2 years of hire required.
- Advanced degree preferred.
Experience:
- 2-3 years' clinical experience in perioperative practice or experience commiserate with timeframe required.
- Leadership experience preferred.
Licensure/Credentials:
- RN licensure in the State of Washington required.
- BLS Certification required.
- ACLS Certification required.
- PALS Certification preferred.
- CENP or other applicable Certification preferred.
