Job Description
Amentum is seeking Observers to perform entry control actions at Offutt Air Force Base and will be responsible for continuous knowledge of the location of employees under his/her control. The Observer will ensure adequate observation and physical control of construction workers regardless of whether observation is of pedestrian construction personnel, construction vehicles or oversight of special construction items/equipment. Observers may also be utilized for oversight of specialty items off/outside the construction zone, to include oversight when transporting specialty items to and from the construction sites/zone. Additionally, observers will assist with construction zone/site badge issue and control for all/any personnel requiring entry to the construction zone/sites.
Duties/Responsibilities:

Shall understand, be able to apply and adhere to the principles of the Privacy Act, Title 5 of the U.S. Code, Section 552a and applicable rules and regulations.

Shall understand, be able to apply and adhere to the principles of Operations Security (OPSEC) for identifying, controlling and protecting critical unclassified information per National Security Decision Directive Number 298 and DODD 5205.2 (series) DOD OPSEC Program Manual.

Shall have the ability to meet and deal successfully with the general public.

Shall understand and apply printed rules, detailed orders, instructions, and training materials to their assigned duties.

Shall have the ability to maintain poise and self-control under stress.

Shall have the ability to conduct "Stop & Question" of person's found in closed
and locked areas, parking lots and throughout the construction site after hours and on weekends/ holidays to ensure no criminal activity has or is taking place.
- Shall have the ability to construct and write clear, concise, and accurate detailed reports if needed.
Minimum Requirements:

Active TS Clearance

At least 2 years' experience in at least one of the following areas of expertise: Construction security surveillance, Technical Surveillance Countermeasures, Industrial or Government security involving counterintelligence, construction quality assurance, or hands on supervisory construction experience.

Must possess a valid state-issued driver's license or permit

High School diploma or equivalent

Shall not have any misdemeanor convictions involving moral turpitude, acts of dishonesty, assault or battery or felony convictions, nor receive any while employed in this position.

Must be able to fluently read, write and speak English.
Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands:
- This is an in-the field position, with no unusual hazards, occasional lifting up to 50 lbs, frequent and prolonged walking, standing, sitting, stooping, climbing, crawling, jumping, occasional running or sprinting, capable of hearing ordinary conversation at 15 feet with either ear or without benefit of a hearing aid, constant mental alertness, must possess planning/organizing skills, and must be able to work under deadlines.

If needed, shall be able to obtain (within 30 days) any required specialty license for operating equipment or vehicles on site if needed for special circumstances or situations.

Amentum personnel called upon to testify for the Government on any matter relating to their work under this contract, shall do so in a duty status.

Miami, FL | Full-Time Observation
Summary
Sitter performs elementary patient attending work in the care and observation of patients. Employees in this classification provide basic hygienic, dietary and minimal nursing care duties not requiring the knowledge and skill of licensed nursing staff. This is Level 1 job in the nursing support career ladder.
Responsibilities
Helps patients with basic grooming and dressing needs. Attends to basic housekeeping duties which the patient cannot get to. Keeps the patient company, keeping an eye out for any changes in the patient's physical, emotional or mental condition. Communicates the status of the patient, including any changes, periodically, to a supervisor, case manger or nurse. Demonstrates behaviors of service excellence and CARE values (Compassion, Accountability, Respect and Expertise). Performs all other related job duties as assigned. Follows and performs all related unit specific policies and procedures, as detailed on the unit specific competency check-list. Utilizes job and unit specific equipment as required. Demonstrates behaviors of service excellence and CARE values (Compassion, Accountability, Respect and Expertise). Performs all other related job duties as assigned.
Experience
Generally requires 0 to 3 years of related experience.
Education
High School diploma is strongly preferred.
Skill
Ability to analyze, organize and prioritize work accurately while meeting multiple deadlines. Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form. Ability to handle difficult and stressful situations with critical thinking and professional composure. Ability to understand and follow instructions. Ability to exercise sound and independent judgment. Knowledge and skill in use of job appropriate technology and software applications. Must meet and maintain current all unit specific and organizational skills/competencies, certifications/licensures, as required by the nursing area.
Credentials
American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) and any additional applicable life support certification for Healthcare Providers is required upon hire with at least 6 months validity and maintenance at JHS for the duration of employment.

Physical Requirements - Job function requires extended standing or walking. Must be able to carry objects weighing 21 to 50 pounds. Able to lift or move objects weighing 51 to 100 pounds with the use of appropriate devices. Jobs in this group require frequent visual acuity to perform activities related to extended use of computers. Environmental Conditions - Jobs in this group are required to function in a fast paced environment with occasional high pressure or emergent and stressful situations. Exposure to various environments such as: communicable diseases, toxic substances, medicinal preparations and other conditions common to a hospital and medical office environment. May also be exposed to needle sticks, airborne infections, medical gases, X-Ray, chemical exposures and other potential hazards. Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when exposed to infectious/clinical hospital environment.
