The Export Sales Department in Midland,TX, is responsible for the sales of power electronics equipment for various oil & gas and industrial markets. Customers typically include oil service companies, OEMs, EPCs, and dealers in industrial sectors. The equipment we develop, manufacture, and service primarily includes low- and medium-voltage drives, downhole sensors, and linear ESP systems.


We are looking for a Client Relations & Operations Manager to join our team in Midland. 

This role combines two main areas of responsibility:

- сlient relations and event support - welcoming and hosting clients, supporting events and presentations, coordinating with suppliers and contractors.

- operations and facility management - ensuring smooth site operations, warehouse processes, logistics, and facility upkeep.

This position requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients, partners, and service providers.


Principle Duties & Responsibilities

Client Relations & Event Support: 

- prepare and organize client visits (transport, meals, meeting rooms, site tours).

- provide on-site support for presentations, seminars, and events (equipment setup, catering, contractors, interpreters).

- manage promotional materials, branded items, and welcome packs.

- ensure proper documentation for events (invoices, reports, confirmations).

- collect client requirements and feedback after showroom presentations.

Key Account Support:

- prepare and coordinate requests for quotations (RFQs)

- support Business Development Managers in aligning proposals and client communications.

- track purchase orders and delivery/payment deadlines, coordinating with finance and logistics teams.

Operations & Facility Management:

- coordinate with the landlord regarding repairs, utilities, and maintenance.

- manage relationships with energy suppliers (electricity, gas, water), ensuring service quality and resolving disputes.

- oversee site cleanliness, safety standards, and occupational health compliance.

- organize fire safety checks, staff training, and interaction with supervisory authorities.

Warehouse & Logistics Support:

- oversee product unloading, placement, and shipment.

- maintain warehouse order, infrastructure, and reporting.

- coordinate service providers (outsourced staff, forklifts, packaging, etc.).

- prepare inventory reports, shipment documents, and proof of delivery.

  • Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team as an E,I&C designer for multiple projects.

  • Design of E, I&C scope for Oil & Gas projects requiring the application of engineering principles and a familiarity with construction, installation, and maintenance procedures.

- Successfully resolve customer/employee complaints.
Financial management, logistics or sales experience
Working knowledge of environmental statutes and regulations, business development, revenue enhancement and market penetration
Leadership experience

This role offers a hybrid work arrangement. You'll spend three days a week in the office, giving you the flexibility to work remotely for two days
Project teams in our Energy & Industrial Group (EIG) support industry-leading projects in power generation, plant design, environmental compliance, mid/downstream oil & gas, and multi-disciplined industrial projects. We're leading efforts to decarbonize the industry by utilizing advanced technologies in renewable energy, carbon capture, and hydrogen power. Our EIG teams perform detailed engineering services for photovoltaic (PV) solar projects and the integration of solar and energy storage. We're the industry leader in carbon capture technologies with experience executing pilot-scale to commercial-scale projects for utilities, industrial plants, and direct air capture. We provide engineering services for green hydrogen production via electrolysis using solar, wind, hydro, and nuclear power sources and we support on-site usage in power generation, fuel cells, and fueling stations.
+ As a member of the mechanical design team, this position will offer you the opportunity to work with multi-disciplined engineering and design project teams in developing mechanical physical layout drawings in a 3-D model.
+ Challenging assignments that include the design of mechanical systems, and investigating, trouble-shooting, and solving a wide variety of mechanical design issues.
+ Utilize 3D modeling software tools to generate mechanical design schematics.
+ Participate in the coordination of detailed design phases for all aspects of an integrated mechanical design model.
+ Provide support to other designers and project team members in order to ensure a complete and timely design.
+ Independently and as a member of a design team, plan and execute mechanical design deliverables, such as general arrangements, piping isometrics, piping composites, pipe support drawings, and equipment location drawings.
+ Accompany engineers in field walkdowns and data gathering at client facilities.
+ Provide guidance to others in the use of drafting tools, and also as a mentor in the development of less experienced drafters and designers.

Essential skills and experience:
+ An Associate's Degree in drafting, or a high school diploma and drafting course work or equivalent technical experience.
+ 10 or more years of detailed physical design experience in the development of mechanical general arrangements, piping systems, and supports.
+ Proficiency with design software tools in executing 3D plant layout models.
+ Experience in the review of mechanical equipment, including outlines and interface points, and coordinating and developing the associated deliverables.
+ Ability to interface with engineering and design teams of other disciplines in the power plant design process.
Valued but not required experience:
+ Proficiency with MicroStation.
+ Experience with Laser Scanning and working with Point Clouds.

+ This position will offer you the ability to directly apply your knowledge of materials, structural analysis, structural steel design, and reinforced concrete design. As a member of an engineering and design team, you will work on a wide range of oil and gas facilities.
+ Project responsibilities will include creating calculations, document designs, and specifications. Additionally, you will be conducting structural analyses, which include loading conditions such as wind, seismic, blast, and pressurization.
+ Under the direction of the Structural Lead, you will be responsible for guiding designers in structural engineering design efforts, including providing guidance with the coordination of detailed design phases for all aspects of structural engineering work.
+ You will work on challenging assignments that include investigating, troubleshooting, and solving a wide variety of structural engineering issues.
+ Develop integrated structural designs and perform supporting calculations for the planned work.
+ Prepare technical specifications for structural materials.
+ Perform independent reviews of work performed by others including calculations and drawing preparation.
+ Coordinate and provide guidance to other engineers, project managers, client personnel, and suppliers to ensure a complete and timely design.
+ Perform reviews of existing facilities to propose upgrades and replacements, and present findings and recommendations to clients and peers.
+ There is the potential for you to travel to client and vendor offices for design reviews and to plant site locations for construction coordination and field verification of designs.
This position is based on a hybrid work schedule and will require in-office work 3 days per week.

Essential skills and experience:
+ This position requires a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering (Master's in Civil Engineering preferred) with a graduation date of Spring 2025 from an ABET Engineering Accreditation Commission-approved program.
+ 3 or more years of experience in the design of oil and gas facilities, with a focus on the analysis of steel structures and concrete foundations and supports for new facilities, or modifications or replacements for existing facilities.
+ Knowledge in writing and providing support documentation for Structural Engineering calculations.
+ Technically knowledgeable of the practical application of structural engineering including analysis for structural supports, loads, and design integrity.
+ Proficiency with MS Office applications.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Valued but not required skills and experience:
+ Proficiency with any of the following programs: MathCad, STAAD PRO, SAP2000, SAFE, STRUDL, LPILE or ANSYS.
+ Familiarity with design codes and standards such as IBC, ASCE 7, AISC, and ACI 318.
+ Construction and start-up experience a plus.
+ EIT, preferred.

+ Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team as an E,I&C designer for multiple projects.
+ Design of E, I&C scope for Oil & Gas projects requiring the application of engineering principles and a familiarity with construction, installation, and maintenance procedures.
+ Using AutoCAD, independently creates design deliverable packages, while working with a discipline engineer/PM.
+ Prepare layout, detail and sketch drawings of unusual, complex, or original designs requiring the application of practical design knowledge.
+ Perform calculations with minimal input from discipline engineer to determine conduit & cable sizes, cable tray fill, and indoor/outdoor lighting levels.
+ Maintain effective communication with project team members and with clients, vendors, and contractors.
+ Provide technical guidance and mentoring to less experienced designers (non-supervisory role).
+ Preliminary QA/QC of Project Documents.

+ Strong knowledge of gas plants and gas processing preferred.
+ Strong understanding of AutoCAD and its commands.
+ Strong knowledge and ability to create; instrumentation plans, interconnection wiring diagrams, conduit/cable schedules, loop diagrams, one-line diagrams, area classification plans, grounding plans, cable tray and conduit plans and sizing, panel layout drawings, etc.
+ Skills in SKM Power Tools, 3D Lighting Calculation program such as DiaLux Evo, and experience using TraceCalc preferred.
+ Ability to interpret P&IDs, Instrumentation wiring and ability to provide I&C input into P&IDs.
+ Associates Degree in Computer Aided Design preferred.
+ Excellent oral and written communication skills required as well as a professional demeanor.
+ Excellent team-working skills.
+ Able to travel as necessary for client meetings, job site visits, start-up activities, etc. (up to 20% travel).
