**Job Title:** **Site Project Engineer**
**Organization Overview:**
The Site Project Engineer will join the Utilities, Facilities, and Project Engineering team delivering the overall Kenosha County campus taking responsibility to deliver part of the project scope. In addition, they will take responsibility for separate capital projects concurrent to the main campus construction, assuring that those individual parallel projects are integrated with the overall site development initiative. In the long term, the position will be responsible for project engineering of site local capital projects, from the early conceptual phase (part of the Business plan cycle) to the execution completion.
**Responsibilities:**
The Site Project Engineer leads projects executions cross-functionally, such as equipment / process / operations modifications or new asset installations.
+ Project Phase: taking responsibility to lead the completion of the execution of portion of the overall LKC campus scope based on the current approved design. Help in identify and eventually lead separate capital projects to be realized concurrently to the main campus based on unforeseen business need. Assure the coordination of local capital initiatives with the major site development program.
+ Post Project Responsibilities: project engineering of site local capital projects (up to 5 MM USD, but this limit could be increased based on specific business need), for increase and/or optimization of Lilly manufacturing processes and fit out of site functionality from the early conceptual phase (part of the Business plan cycle) to the execution completion.
+ Lead with a disciplined, structured project engineering approach and expertise projects team consisting of both Lilly and Non-Lilly professionals to safely achieve project objectives from conceptual design to execution completion. Project objectives are defined as: safety, asset capability or capacity, budget, schedule, and compliance with Company Policies and Procedures.
+ Develop and maintain safety and environmental execution plans for projects, ensuring compliance to safety and environmental external regulation and internal policies, procedures, and work rules for project personnel, contractors, and subcontractors during the entire project duration. Help in implementing in the project all HSE Corporate and Site Goals.
+ Establish and maintain effective communication within the project team and externally (governance teams, business partners, and other stakeholders) as the size of the project may dictate.
+ Contribute to monitor campus projects throughout their life cycle, tracking and reporting metrics monthly, informing management on project issues and status, resource need and constraints, and prioritization need.
+ Interact with other project engineers within the company to share information and best practices, consulting/mentoring other site project engineers when needed.
+ Analyzing metrics and data to drive continuous improvement in the areas of site project planning, execution, and closure.
+ Facilitate issue resolution, anticipate scope changes, and implement safely with quality, speed, and value.
**Basic Requirements:**
+ Bachelor of Science - Engineering or field related to project management/engineering, or equivalent experience.
+ 5+ Years previous experience in capital project delivery in large industrial manufacturing facilities.

Actual compensation will depend on a candidate's education, experience, skills, and geographic location. The anticipated wage for this position is

- In-depth knowledge of construction techniques, materials, and industry best practices.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and site management principles.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and construction documentation.
- Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and technical specifications.
- P.E. (Professional Engineer) license is a significant plus.
