Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with executives and department heads to define strategic priorities and objectives

Job Description
The Data Strategy Team collaborates with the US Employer Actuarial and Underwriting Teams, alongside IT, to establish a robust foundation for analytical work. We are responsible for managing key business data and developing technology and reporting standards. Our primary objective is to empower actuarial and underwriting analysts to focus on analysis, rather than data extraction and comprehension.
Core Responsibilities
Data Strategy - Data Management Strategy and Governance
- Lead the data and reporting organization with 2 direct reports.
- Take ownership of monthly data processing cycles, key reporting processes, and key data sources
- Identify opportunities for improvement to our current data ecosystem and technology culture across our broader team.
- Collaborate with a wide variety of business partners to understand their data needs and issues with the current data ecosystem
- Partner with IT to deliver data solutions that address current issues and advance long-term data strategy goals
- Identify opportunities for data-driven improvements and efficiencies
Business Partnerships
- Share information, discuss challenges, and contemplate strategies with key business partners (Actuarial, UW, IT) to develop data solutions
- Communicate in a pro-active, collaborative manner with key matrix partners
Qualifications
- 7+ years of technical healthcare related experience
- Experience leading a team preferred
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong command of SQL
- Understanding of data and database technology
- Python experience is a plus

Role Summary:
The Pharmacy Sales Product Senior Advisor is responsible for supporting Cigna Pharmacy Management, with an emphasis on the client facing organization, by developing and delivering clinical knowledge, tools, and expertise to enable winning new client sales and retaining existing business. This is accomplished by collaborating with our partners, creating and providing education, and through general clinical support. This support will leverage relationships and information provided by other Cigna pharmacy departments such as Product, Marketing, and Pharmacy Economics. This position has three main focuses. The first is to enhance the effectiveness of our client facing teams, allowing them to leverage existing communications and drive more consistent messaging to the marketplace ultimately leading to sales growth and retention. The second is to provide clinical education and consultation. The third is to support critical Cigna pharmacy functions and operational issues. Overall, the ultimate goal of this position is to drive greater success of our client facing teams and increase retention by providing tools and information to be more proactive and strategic with clients, support clinical upsell, and help develop and drive the strategies of Cigna Pharmacy Management (CPM).
Responsibilities:
- Interface with CP-SAM team, matrix partners, and medical sales partners to understand and communicate the clinical needs of Cigna Pharmacy.
- Enhance and simplify clinical communication and maintain a standardized clinical communication process to communicate clinical changes and marketplace events. Provide training materials for clinical topics.
- Maintain a process to identify gaps/opportunities to enhance communication regarding clinical events.
- Maintain a centralized clinical question email inbox. This inbox represents a single contact point for getting complex clinical questions/issues addressed.
- Maintain a SharePoint site with relevant clinical information related to commonly asked questions and important links to self-service sites.
- Support CP-SAM and medical sales teams in clinically complex client and broker meetings. This support can include delivery of presentations, and management of challenging clinical questions when the sales team does not feel comfortable delivering the specific information.
- Support the product team in internal meetings delivering our clinical strategy to the market.
- Provide consultation for the formulary/UM strategy and drive consistent messaging into the marketplace around our formulary and UM choices.
- Work with marketing and CP-SAM sales teams to ensure that we are delivering a consistent clinical message into the marketplace. This includes ideation, consultation with and direct involvement with clinical content for slides.
- Develop and deliver critical information to brokers, consultants, and clients.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy required; PharmD preferred
- Licensed Pharmacist required
- 3+ years of direct pharmacy client management experience, or pharmacy clinical development experience, required
- An exceptional understanding of the needs of our clients, customers, pharmacy and medical sales teams.
- Exceptional strategic thinking, problem-solving, and executive communication skills
- Strong presentation skills with the ability to tailor the message to the audience
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain a focus on team's strategy and goals
- Experience working in matrixed organizations and relationship management skills with the ability to build and leverage partnerships to achieve team, client and organizational goals
- Proficient technical skills utilizing Microsoft Office Suite and experience working with SharePoint
- Ability to travel up to 15% of the time
